This was very interesting, equally good questions and answers. I think you would benefit from experimenting more with the thumbnails, fantastic quality inside - I'm glad I clicked.
Glad i watched this. really down to earth vibe from both you and Harvey, Keep these coming! Also bit of feedback (at beginning of video worth giving glimpse of whats going to be covered like quick highlights, also at the end of the pod if you had any interesting guests talk about it "next episode i've got ......." if you've already filmed it add snippets, study top channels and copy their structure they've already done the hard work
Hi, thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed the podcast. With regards to the quick highlights at the intro, this has been implemented now on our most recent podcast with Abdul-Qawiyy - you can expect this every episode moving forwards. As for the outro, we don't always have qued up ready to go like that but give it time and we'll get there. Thanks!
This was crazy value, especially on the hiring phase, faces the exact same issues scaling my business ! moving to Dubai in few months. funny how well the RUclips algorithm works! Would love to def connect bro
Tye value in this podcast is top tier! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm currently in the health and wellness niche product is ready to be shipped. But completely new to the advertising space, how and where do people start with brand advertising?
Hi, thank you for the feed back, yeah Harvey is super knowledgeable, I feel as though we only scratched the surface with what he has available to share - 1 hour wasn't long enough! I don't think he has RUclips, but you can find him on IG & X: harvey_carnegie
It's my understanding that Harvey suggests sending them from a Meta ad to the advertorial (separate landing page), then from the advertorial to the product page. Hopefully that helps answer your question
Hey, thank you for the feedback, I'm pleased you enjoyed the interview! With regards to why I switched - it just felt like the right thing to do at the time. Running and scaling an ecom biz alone for 2 years was kinda lonely. So when I met my business partner who had previous worked at an advertising agency and we decided to start Profit Driven Marketing together, it felt like a natural transition
Every entrepreneur makes mistakes it's how you learn, better to make them whilst your young as opposed to further down the line. But yeah, awful that he lost the money!
@@TheoClarkePodcast yeah it’s awful alright. He’s had massive growth in such a short time. It was a great interview. I wish he shared some of his brand names though.
This guys journey is so relatable. Last year I made my first ever shopify store and thought I got onto a winner with a product. Did about 50k in rev and around 20k in profit before facebook completely shut my ad accounts down. Now i'm on the bounce, looking for a new winner, new store etc. But my question is, every single time i'm testing a new product and store, should I be making a whole new instagram page or use a one I have? If so how do you guys make your insta pages trusthworthy if they're brand new.
Hi, thank you for the feedback - sorry to hear about your ad account! I guess you could reuse the existing IG page if you rebrand it, otherwise, yeah you'd need to start a new one. Regarding trust, it's not easy with a new account as the first thing people look at is follower count. It would be product dependant, but I think UGC and social proof goes a long way so try and generate as much of that as possible; reviews, testimonials, unboxing etc
@@elhadjisy19 Yeh its fine, so I started off selling those NBA basketball keyrings. I actually got the idea from listing 1 on vinted and they would sell straight away (back then, im sure its a bit different now). So I tried to make a business out of it as I already knew shopify and a little bit of facebook ads and the keyrings cost pennies when bought in bulk and would sell for like £12
Amazing value here! Thanks for sharing!

Welcome to ecom! When it comes to advertising, most people typically use paid ads, Meta, TikTok and/or Google
Tonne of knowledge.
Thank you.
Was really looking forward to hear him talk about native ads.
Kindly share his RUclips link if any.
Thank you

Hey theo, great internview, just curious but whyd you switch from doing ecom to an agency?

No, you are right, we mentioned it but never actually spoke on it, unfortunately!

$20mil/year revenue from dropshipping or from brands?
All of the stores started as dropship, I believe he transitioned 1 or 2 of them into brands
@@TheoClarkePodcast so he said he's gonna do $20m this year so is that with dropshipping products or custom products ?
Who is the guy that he refers to as dead from whom he bought 500$ course?
If you could confirm the moment in the podcast where he says this, I'll find out for you
@@TheoClarkePodcast Appreciate it)) He talks about it at 9:26

Renting a stripe account is the stupidest thing you can do. such a shame that he lost all of that.
