ALSO THE WAY HE JUST LAUGHS AT THE POLITICS VIDEO 😭 i'm assuming the timeline in this is really early on in book one since no one reacted to it much and also got surprised at the killing scene, so this makes it extremely comical to me. book two pansy would've been writhing on the ground seeing that video tldr: SUPER COOL, IF THERE'S A NEXT PART THEN EXPECT ME LURKING TO SEE IT!!!
I have a genuine question for M&M. In Japan you would normally call sum1 by their last name so Dazai but if M&M is in England ( I think) wouldn’t they call Dazai by his first name “Osamu”??
That does make sense, but in Harry Potter they say “Hey Malfoy” or “Hey Potter” if they aren’t that close. I assumed that this is why they call him Dazai in the fic lol

i assume it's just a name preference thing. even canon bsd doesn't have dazai being referred to with "osamu", and the only references to it we end up getting is the official highschool au with chuuya specifically. and if you know soukoku, they're way WAY more linked in both rivalry and partnership than any other hogwarts or bsd cast. being called osamu would probably ruin that parallel and also make him more ooc. it's also entirely possible that he just switches his name backwards (ie dazai being his "given name" instead).
