This came JUST at the right time, I’m going to DLP soon and have been thinking of going there for dinner! Also, i think you’re SO good at interacting with characters! I get so awkward around them, I always become so aware of the fact that there’s a person inside that costume so I never know what to say (one of the reasons I’m on the fence about doing a character dining experience, especially when they’re this pricey). My daughter made Pooh a material Pot of Honey and He got soooooo excited. Pooh ran all over the Crystal Palace in Flordia showing alllll his friends his new pot of pretend honey...🥰🤗😀

Every vid I see about character meeting experience I think about that little girl meeting snow white vid that surfaced some years ago, I am def that girl in soul... would not be a good thing to meet them while I am hungry and enjoying my meal. great video! As we travel with kids we like to pre-book dinner and you can it up to 12 months in advance if you have a hotel reservation. This dinner is a good opportunity to see the characters without having to wait in line for a normal visit which is great. We'd recommend people with kids book the 6pm in advance and take a refresh break before dinner. Then after dinner you'll still have about 2 hours to jump on uncrowded rides with short lines before the fireworks. Same holds true for the Princess Dinner which is maybe even better since you can talk to the characters and it is less noisy inside

Thanks so much, Bettina :) As far as I'm aware, you can stay as long as you want - obviously in a reasonable way. I don't imagine they'll be happy for you to have a reservation at say 6 pm and stay all the way till the closing time. But they definitely won't rush you out either, and if you don't meet certain characters, cast members make sure you can stay until you do so x
I'm watching your videos because we went to disney in July 2022 and I'm missing it :) This was our favourite meal,my son loves pluto and I was sobbing when he met him again after 5 years. It was lovely,the food is gorgeous and the interactions were amazing. We had an amazing server called Nicolas who drew some beautiful portraits in our autograph books,my favourite has to be princess Donald! I’m definitely going to go to this character dining next time for dinner but I’m going to load my plate up and can’t believe you only get one drink. It feels so busy and stressful too lol. I took my daughter for her 6th birthday last month and couldn’t get any character dining reservations as it was a last minute trip. So looking forward to doing this for my kids.

We’ve just booked this….and the evening princess one.. Wow…I’m glad I watched this as I think I’m going to find it very stressful …. So much going on.. Do you stay at your table and a cast member tells you to get your food? Do the characters just make there rounds or can you approach them? Hope there’s more for the children than pizza…can they have salads,pasta etc… So glad Goofy made a fuss of you….he’s your favourite… I’m going to have to keep calm whilst everything just happens…our grandchildren might be overwhelmed by it all…nanny must be calm.. Do you have any thoughts on if we will see any of the main characters at a 7pm meal or is it more likely to be the less popular characters? Do you know if you can use your dinning plan then pay the extra on top for dinner? We have booked this thinking we could still do this. We did the breakfast about 4/5 years and this is what we were able to do then. The only problem we has as we had a 9am on was most of the characters were going out of the door at that time so we missed them😪

There is a ramp at the left (facing the building) that goes behind the restaurant. Enter by the first door you see. There was no sign last time we came this way so it was a bit confusing but we had help from a cast member.
Could you please advise if you know that is, is this restaurant accessibility friendly ? how do people with wheelchairs and mobility scooters fair. Ie getting in/ being seated, or is it a no go?

Could you please advise if you know that is, is this restaurant accessibility friendly ? how do people with wheelchairs and mobility scooters fair. Ie getting in/ being seated, or is it a no go?
Yes, as far as I know, almost everywhere in DLP is accessible-friendly :)

Because I rarely not finish my food 🤷🏻♀️ if you’ve watched any of my other videos, you’ll know that I also take extra food back to my room when needed. But I wasn’t gonna take a small half eaten cake back tbh.
