The Blitz is just a shit version of the GD-7F carbine which sports an amazing in flight accuracy stat as well. They have the same RPM, but the carbine is more accurate, does more damage, has better range, has less recoil, has a faster long reload by half a second (but longer short reload by 0.2s) and has a faster equip time. Yeah the Blitz has more ammo, but that doesn't help when you're dead because you got out DPS'd.
In my quest to auraxium 5 TR assault rifles I’ve come to absolutely love the sabr-13. I’m amazingly effective with it in both cqc and longer range engagements. I can only recommend others to try it.
The SABR is a great gun indeed. People seem to forget that with the right trigger discipline burst fire weapons can be almost indistinguishable from fully automatic ones, but a lot more accurate thanks to the reduced kick on the first shot. Sure it's not meant to go into close quarters, but I find it holds its own there just fine, and honestly it's one of the reasons I'm disappointed there are no burst-fire LMGs.
It's a weapon that truly carries some awesome potential, and I wanted to shine it in the spotlight in the video for that exact reason. Hope you enjoyed the video chief!
So basically a majority of the list is all the weapons that are non-conforming to the emphasis of their faction. All of NC's non-167 weapons, and all of non-NC's 167 weapons.
The GD-22S is the weapon equivalent of your lover/friend/pet that will guarantee a hearty hug when things are bad. It will never betray you and will carry you as best as it can. And that's only when things are bad, don't get me started when things are great. Cami, do you think you could ever do the overrated/bad weapons list next? The sort of guns which you just can't stand, personally? Just a suggestion. Edit: Forgot to mention. There is one more category of weapons which I learned to very much enjoy - Semi-Auto Sniper Rifles. If you don't use them as BASR, but glorified Battle Rifles, especially in chokes, they become scary as hell.
Man the GD-22S was probably one of the weapons that kept me interested in this game while I struggled through the start. In saying that, that is a video that I actually already have in the planning, so great minds think alike!
Exactly man, well put. it has greater versatility than the anchor, to the extent that no matter what the situation, it will perform admirably. Even the small mag isn't an issue like it is with guns like the msw-r and the orion because of its great-in-class reload speed. It's got more muzzle velocity than even the gauss saw by default (although not if the saw is running hva which it can't) and its recoil is so controllable that even with a laser sight it still does just fine at longer ranges and the laser sight tightens down its hipfire cone just enough that it can be used in that role reliably. It's simply a weapon that you can't go wrong using, regardless of the situation. Glad that they made it the stock lmg for NC HA's. I feel like it even serves well in that role as "training wheels" of sorts for players to get into weapons like the godsaw because of it resides in the same general low rpm/high damage per shot niche as the godsaw.
While I agree with most of this list, I have to give a big +1 to the Cougar. Coming from NC and VS, the TR carbines were far too jumpy and erratic for my liking. I struggled for months to find a groove with any of them, even the "meta" carbines like the Jaguar and Kindred that people always praised. I was on the verge of giving up and settling on the NS-11C. Then I tried the Cougar. It was like Papa Vanu and the NC Suits had heard my prayers, and they delivered upon me a TR carbine that actually shoots bullets where the crosshair is pointing, while also doing damage beyond 20m. It hit all of the sweet spots that the other TR carbines were missing (both figuratively and literally). The Cougar made engineer and light assault playable for me on the TR, so it will always be my favorite TR carbine.
1. GD-22S. I can't say I _disagree_ with this, since it's a solid performer, but I was personally just never able to make it work as well as SAW or Anchor in their respective roles. 2. SABR-13. Hard agree. Anyone who doesn't know about this weapon's performance for longer-ranged fights is missing out. (And medic works best when played second-line, so there are a lot of fights where you're at that slightly longer range to make use of it.) 3. Flare. Yup, solid all-around generalist LMG! 4. Zenith. Don't think I ever played this one enough to have a strong opinion on it, might give it more of a try now! 5. TMG-50. This was my go-to long-range LMG for my TR chars for years. Granted nowadays we have the NSX Naginata and I don't think the TMG stands up to that if I know I'll be fighting at long range (even though TMG does have slightly better falloff values) 6. Carnage AR. Yeah, this always felt very interchangeable with GR-22 for short-range medic play. Honestly looking at weapon values, Carnage is probably outright better with a 7% worse TTK but an impressive 21% faster reload. Since both weapons have lighting-fast TTKs, "7% worse" really oversells how big a difference it is (~0.03 sec) but the reload really matters for those tight CQC fights. 7. Blitz GD-10. When I was at my best, I strongly felt the mag size advantages of Blitz/Hailstorm/Sirius outweighed the slight TTK disadvantage. Now that I'm a little rusty, it's kind of a wash. 8. Cougar. Rockstar at long range. Weird to compare it with Kindred, since it's more designed for short-mid range (and Cougar for mid-long range) 9. Infil "Battle Rifles" (eg Shadow). Yeah, I love those things! They're a little more flexible than the short-range sniper rifles, and honestly even though you brought up the falloff thing comparing them to battle rifles, they still have superior DPS at all ranges by comparison (while you also get to be an infiltrator). I also enjoyed the infiltrator "carbines" (eg Stalker), but nowadays I think the Tomoe just outright _demolishes_ them if the player is above a certain skill level. The headshot multiplier is just too good, so those old favorites have been shelved. 10. EM6. Yeah agree on it being least underrated. While I mentioned SAW/Anchor earlier, the EM6 was the mid-range option I use when I'm not certain if the fight will consistently be long or short range.
The Sabr-13 has been my love and curse since I got it a few months ago. A beast at med to long range and for some odd reason, I am most deadly in cqc with the sabr!? Sadly, I lost all skills with the other guns in my arsenal 😢.
What about the Artemis (and no, not the faction equivalents)? When supressed, it makes practically 0 sound while shooting so you can make some really sneaky plays as VS infil, killing your enemies before they even know you're there
Fun fact: The Flare, TMG 50, and Gauss SAW-S (NOT the Gauss SAW) are nearly identical clones of each other, the Flare just has a little less vertical recoil and more horizontal. But sadly the TR doesn't get extended magazine attachment, because who wants more dakka on TR?
My pick for underrated weapon is the Solstice Burst. You mentioned in this video that the carbine for long-range is the Pulsar C, but I'd argue the Solstice Burst is the real deal for long-range. Its sub-1.0 first-shot multiplier and burst fire mode make this gun feels like a battle rifle, and the zero bullet drop trait of VS guns enables it to be used like an actual battle rifle. Slap on a 3.4x or 4x scope and you're good to go.
I’d second this, it’s viable(ish) in CQC as long as you don’t spam click your bursts and I’ve gotten many long range kills where I was just taking pot shots with a 2x, not even a 3.4 or 4 as you mentioned
I only picked the Zenith up for the directive and coming from having just figured out what a beast the Pulsar C can be i didnt really want to like it. I gave it long range attachments and treated it as a discount Pulsar C. Nonetheless, i was surprised by how quickly i was able to get kills with it and in the end i had slightly better stats with it. I dropped it afterwards cause despite auraxing it i didnt really know when and where id pick it for the job. I went and auraxed the Eclipse, had fun with the Horizon, used Serpent and Pulsar C where theyre strong, but in the end there was something missing. Something reliable. Something undemanding. Something that just works. Turns out the answer to that was the Zenith. Its like i never wanted to like the Zenith, but the Zenith always liked me. Im sorry, little one.
@@snakehead214 The thing about the Rhino is that it's more adaptable than the Bull, while the Bull is better overall. The Rhino has access to an Advanced Laser Sight, Advanced Forward Grip, and Extended Magazines, so switching up your loadouts really lets the Rhino shine. It's a personal favorite to me.
I aurax'd the Blitz as my first weapon. I really enjoyed it. I agree it isn't as godlike as the Cyclone, but it's still a fun as hell weapon to just go on sprees with.
I love using the NS-44L Showdown. Its not as effective as the Commissioner, but damn does it feel great to secure kills with this thing. I've had some pretty clutch, unexpected kills with it while descending or hovering as a Light Assault.
The VS Sirius on an infiltrator is deadly, you can appear behind someone and mag dump half a clip into someone before they even turn. Also the Horizon with that special attachment, and one I've recently enjoyed is the Pulsar LSW, with the right attachments and a 4x it makes a great mid-range LMG.
I would definitely put the Gauss Compact Burst on here. That thing is an absolute laser beam; Its cone of fire is slightly worse than the AC-X11 (only if you're standing still), but the recoil more than makes up for the difference. A full burst from the Gauss Compact produces less kick than the first round out of an AC-X11 or Razor. You can chain headshots at absurd ranges with this gun, but it's not a one-trick pony. It still retains that 167@600 damage model, which is more capable in CQC than the Razor's 167@550 or the AC-X11's 200@500. Oh, and did I mention it has the tightest horizontal tolerance of any automatic weapon in the game?
255 rpm scouts are left behind because Vandal exists. It has better everything. More ammo in mag. Better hipfire accuracy. 0.75 ads movement. Its just better. The only one of faction specific rifle that i began using is VS Nyx as it has almost no sound and visuals at all when shooting with supressor.
For me... the VX28 Polaris. My first VS LMG I auraxed. The thing is a blast in medium engagements (like the roofs in biolabs) this thing murders everything. The 25 (!!!) meter minimum damage range is INSANE. It's the most consistent weapon I used and it felt like the fastest one for me to aurax (Maybe because of pre campaign biolab farming). It's decent CQC but definitely an underdog there, but still. Special place in my heart.
Nice video. I like to recommend the GD-22S for new players because it's much cheaper, and the fast reload just feels better when you're in a heated skirmish. Also 100% agree about the Carnage - if you want to forget you have a med tool and play as an agressive Medium Assault, then the Carnage is your best bet.
3:52 my baby! ;o; my top 3? 3: flare ve6 2: Pulsar lsw 1: freckin Thumper ma dood the thumper is perfect to shred into pack of heavy with the disruptor ammo, no u wont have 20 kill but seeing a bunch of angry heavy running towards ur mates and making them a 180 degree turn, back to theyr medic is just so fun and satisfying. also nothin to do with the video but am i the only one thinking the engi should have the assault riffle permantly? i mean not with the asp just having it.
Amaterasu hands down. It's strong in cqc, making for a excellent backup weapon. On top of that it's silent, and has infinite "ammo". The Horizon is also a amazing carbine that I think alot of people take for granted. It has deceptively high damage and kill time while being extremely accurate, a fact that most peeps overlook. Seriously, it has pin point accuracy, even while in the air... yknow that things that light assauts do. =p
I dont think anyone hates it per say, its just a little overlooked because other carbines are objectively more powerful. Then there is also the Horizon, which is considered by many as the best carbine in the game and fills the same role as the Zenith
I'm looking at the vs obelisk, wondering if it's worth investing in a heat gun to mitigate ammo, I tend to live long enough between 2-3 fights to run out in the field as a combat medic, but I don't want to invest in ammo printer a 120 second timer per ammo seems not worth it
Cougar = LA sniper rifle, change my mind. Also: Supressors on guns that have a minimum damage of 167 are underrated. NC has this huge advantage but not that many people seem to utilize that. Additionally: The T16 Rhino with extended mags basically means an infinite ammo gun without a heat mechanic (i love it).
I'm of the opinion that a lot of burst weapons are actually hidden OP and aren't really mentioned much or complained about often. I think that's because they're often overlooked since the average player isn't going to pick that over something full-auto if given a choice. It's a more niche playstyle but highly rewarding if you can get used to many of those weapons. In specific I think the Vanquisher (NC Assault Rifle) is super strong is you can regularly find heads as well as the Gauss Compact Burst (NC Carbine). I haven't done any deep digs into the burst weapons of the other factions yet. Duuude I just arx'd the Carnage AR, I love that thing! Also during that part of the video when you're using your chat macro, why are only certain options highlighted? The Cougar is badass and I love that gun. Super fun, very underrated. You can kit it out like an Assault Rifle if you want and use it on rooftops as LA. Very underrated indeed. EM6 mention? Antdant4435 is being summoned.
The Blitz is underrated because it's just not competitive even against other non-meta weapons. I mean, you already said that it will always be second best to the Cyclone which is absolutely true, but the GD-7F carbine is a straight up upgrade to the Blitz. It has the same RPM, It deals more damage and has better range despite having less recoil, It's more accurate and has a faster equip time. It also has a faster long reload by half a second and for light assaults it has an amazing in flight accuracy. Unless you're playing infil and can't equip carbines (in which case you'll want the meta Cyclone at your side) the GD-7F is a no-brainer because it's just better in all areas except short reload (by 0.2s) and magazine capacity (which is moot if you're dead before you can exhaust it). When ever i run the Blitz i always find it just doesn't have decent stopping power, with enemies doing 180's and dropping me before the pea shooter can even chip away at their shields in spite of shooting them in the back of the head inside of 50m.
6:27 i'm sorry cami but this is a Republic..... and it's working with presidents. not emperors. or the terran republic would have been "the terran empire". the last president of the terran republic (to our knowledge because the Earth is still rowling and us on Auraxis we are just doing pew, pew) was: Tom Connery.
Funny thing when you dont do your homework and read lore tr has pressident he went through wormhole with us and got assasinated then the shit hit the fan real hard when we landed on auraxis
What about the auto scouts? The first time I ever went toe to toe with a MAX as an infiltrator and came out the survivor I used an automatic scout rifle. The SMGs are way more popular and with the tape recorder and the punisher being capable at midrange the auto scouts get overlooked but they're still good and they're cheap. If you want an assault rifle on your infiltrator, I suggest the automatic scout rifle.
I purchased the cougar for my engineer due to it's adaptability. CQC turret operator? Vehicle crewman? pilot? doesn't matter. It's deadly accurate and can trade with inexperienced snipers sometimes. Didn't want the kindred because of it's meta status.
If I had a dollar for everytime I saw Cami defended the SABR-13 on stream and used it to prove his point... I probably should at least be able to get myself a meal from McDonald's. Edit: I love the HC-1 Cougar. The Kindred definitely overshadows it and straight-up outperforms it 99% of the time thanks to the high initial firerate, and heck, they even cost the same price. But, the HC-1 just (for some reason) reminds me of an AKM or a SCAR-H due to its slow firerate and hard hitting rounds while still looking like a conventional assault rifle/carbine. I also like how it's one of the few carbines that actually possesses a stock. I must ask after saying all this though, assuming that we can agree that the Cougar could do with a buff/rework, how should we do it? The key is to make the gun relevant without making others redundant. The competition being the T5 AMC and the Kindred itself. Any opinions from anyone?
I would say, the Rebel pistol. It is basically a cheaper Comissioner, with 10 bullets and overall easier to use. Ngl, I wish The Executive pistol was based on Rebel rather than just being a crappier version of Mag shot lol
Haha EM6 go brrrt. On Connery I don't see the EM6 used a whole lot, which is why the weapon ended making the list, but glad to hear it is popular elsewhere!
The SABR 13 still remains as the best assault rifle for any non CQC scenarios. I would even think it is THE best AR in the game right now compared to other faction ones.
I'm already expecting a salt storm in the comments so I might as well add to it a little: Agree on the SABR-13 but for slightly different reasons. Sure, it's accurate, but the damage output is good if you can use burst weapons well, and the hipfire could be a lot worse. Sure, the way to run it as a marksman's rifle is with the grip, HVA, comp, and 3.4x; but in a case of wrong-build-best-build my favorite setup for it is a laser sight, 2x, and no compensator. (SABR has also been nerfed a few times; or more specifically, the burst weapon changes and AR min damage changes make it less ridiculous than it used to be which might be part of the reason it's underrated.) I think the TMG-50 is a good weapon, but considering the number of my TR friends that either run it as their main LMG or pick it up for anything resembling ranged combat I'm not sure I'd call it underrated. It's just that the TR have so many pretty good LMGs that it's not exactly META. Didn't know the Carnage had a .75ADS. I'll be buying that on my NC now. I think the main problem with the Zenith and Cougar are, respectively, the Jaguar and Pulsar C. Not that they're bad, but another gun on another faction just does it better. Granted, a slightly worse Pulsar C is still a pretty good carbine, so hard agree on that. Also suprised not to see the CME on the list, which I think gets overshadowed by the NS-11A with the same damage model and .75ADS.
It may be just me, but i really don't see much vanu using the solstice SF. Even if you don't like the grenade launcher underbarrel, you can't deny that this weapon is extremely accurate
In my opinion, underrated gun is a faction specific gun which user skips for NS universal analogue. Good example would be AF-18 Stalker (and other 2 factions auto scouts which are exactly same) being underrated over NSX Tomoe. Both rifles are sitting in automatic scout rifle category and both are highly dependant from users ability to hit heads. But in Tomoe situation user just needs to crouch before shooting and he will receive tremendous accuracy buff. AF-18 Stalker despite bigger damage per bullet still needs same 4 headshots to kill a standard 1000hp target with no resists as Tomoe but Tomoe has insane accuracy compared to Stalker... Well, i guess the answer is obvious - 99 times of 100 user will choose Tomoe over Stalker...
@@patrickmurphy6578 i dunno, it feels like something missing on faction specific auto scout rifles... with 167 dpr damage model and slightly lower fire rate (650 changed to 600) the weapon could stay on same DPS but would require 3 headshots to kill a thing rather than 4... seriously, the weapon description says that this weapon type designed for much closer ranges department than sniper rifles so why not amplify that with 3 headshot kill pattern?
GD-22S, TMG-50 and Cougar underrated? There are lot of people running around with them. What about the T32 Bull, a LMG that has the best accuracy out of the TR arsenal?
IMO, those three guns are "underrated" because while being great weapons, they are often forgotten. The Bull is forgotten for a reason, it doesn't offer anything more useful than its fellow TR lmg's. The NS-15 is more accurate, the TMG is better for sustained fire, and the Carv fills the same role with a better damage model.
@@colinl.9361 The Bull is actually more accurate than the NS-15. In fact the Bull is better than the NS-15 at everything except reload speed and ADS movement.
@@aquapendulum With a 167/600 damage model and perfect accuracy, it can certainly do 2-3 kills per magazine with headshots. Even so, you're right that 1 kill per is more common. It also has a really fast reload though so I've never really had any issues with taking on multiple people
sabr13 definitely isn't underrated now with angled foregrip + compensator (lolwhererecoil) plus the further tightening of horizontal recoil(can only jump twice in one direction now without variable intensity). Shame about tmg-50 though(can jump 3 times per side, moving cof bloom implies it should be used at closer ranges - but TR already has plenty of good close range LMGs such as watchman/carv/mswr). Newly buffed carv-s, though, is excellent(at range).
Horizon has to top my list, its criminal how little i see it being used, i shove Unstable Ammo on it and it just eats everything alive, reloads? what reloads! this thing has a 1.6s reload, you can mow down a dude and then BOOM its full ammo again. it massively overachieves for how easy it is to use, its my perfect "drunk gun".
Rhino + Suppressor + Extended magazine. That's 200 laser accurate rounds that don't reveal your location. Pair it with Sensor Shield and you are a ghost. You are welcome.
The Rhino was a weapon I could never find myself actively enjoying... Like sure, I had some good moments, but I would never really go out of my way to use it. Might be a fun build to try out though!
This is pretty much a list of guns I am araxing now; with the exceptions of the GD-22S and EM6 which I araxed long ago. I love the EM6, it's what I run most the time on my NC heavy but I hhhhhhHHHATE the GD-22S, my second LMG arax, after getting good with the SAW it felt like such a downgrade like how the SAW-S fells like such a downgrade after the EM6.
When I asked in outfit chat, if I should pick EM6 or EM1, noone sayed yes for EM1. People actually discouraged me from playing EM1. Other than GaussSaw and Anchor, I also get teamkilled by EM6 more than EM1, so it doesn't seem to me EM6 is underrated, quite the opposite.
I think the EM6 just gets forgotten when put up against the gauss saw, anchor, and gd22. I ran it suppressed for a while and found it to be a great all around NC lmg.
Yeah but em1 isn't underrated, its just bad. (Or at least worse than other options). The em6 is underrated because it is often overlooked while still being a great weapon
Aren't most of the "Time to Gear Up" videos about using underappreciated weapons? Lol jk. Love the videos! (Someday I'll get my loadout on your videos. Haha)
I wouldn't at all call the shadow scout rifle underated (it's a headshot machine sure but if you NEED those headshots to kill anybody), but the Warden battle rifle? Yeah definitely, thing is an absolute beast in the hands of a good infil player and with the right build and tactics can make those damn skillfit HA's miserable. Hell I'd almost argue the Gen 1 BRs should be made default weapons for infiltrators just for CQB versatility.

(And medic works best when played second-line, so there are a lot of fights where you're at that slightly longer range to make use of it.)
3. Flare. Yup, solid all-around generalist LMG!
4. Zenith. Don't think I ever played this one enough to have a strong opinion on it, might give it more of a try now!
5. TMG-50. This was my go-to long-range LMG for my TR chars for years. Granted nowadays we have the NSX Naginata and I don't think the TMG stands up to that if I know I'll be fighting at long range (even though TMG does have slightly better falloff values)
Weird to compare it with Kindred, since it's more designed for short-mid range (and Cougar for mid-long range)
6:11 Why the fuck would anyone use that nc wannabe gun when you can BRRRRT instead?
I'm very upset that you didn't put the thumper on here
#sorrynotsorry
bro no pls
-dtb
Tross is my favorite AR and I think more underrated than the Carnage. Carnage is basically a slightly upgraded cycler, which is already a great gun
Every one of those TR weapons has a place in my heart too. Great picks!
The Sabr-13 has been my love and curse since I got it a few months ago. A beast at med to long range and for some odd reason, I am most deadly in cqc with the sabr!? Sadly, I lost all skills with the other guns in my arsenal 😢.
I know Sabr 13 got nerfed of range damage but I actually really like it.
By the way, Sabr 13 got buff. 125 to 143.
I‘m just working with the Flare (LMG-Directive) and was surprised how fast the orion suddenly is after using flare and pulsar for the last few months
having a blast using the T9 CARV S at the mo,140 kills from aux to get the butcher, very dependable i'm finding mowing down planetmans in 1 mag
Well my favorite weapon is Gladius from NC "Hardest SMG hit ever made"
Hell yeah brother 3 sweet headshots with in 10 meters can drop people quick!
Yeah mate Infiltrator is so fun using that gun
What about the Artemis (and no, not the faction equivalents)?
When supressed, it makes practically 0 sound while shooting so you can make some really sneaky plays as VS infil, killing your enemies before they even know you're there
Definitely a fun weapon in the right situation, it is REALLY worth mentioning thanks to it's low sound signature for sure!
Mine: T4 AMP
Reasons:
1.) Not a revolver
2.) Pocket BRRRT
3.) M1 Garand Ping
it seems I'm the only person on Auraxis who uses the NSX-P Tanto
Nah fam, the Tanto's one of my favorite weapons in the game as well.
I'm using to force myself to get better at headshots. I don't think the weapon is good however.
TMG-50 has same mag capacity as NC6S gauss saw s. I feel like that was worth mentioning and wasn’t.
I also learned to love the Bull (tr lmg). Stat wise its not that great but it kinda just works.
It's a better version of the Rhino, I wish I had used the bull instead of the rhino when picking my auraxiums
@@reap3rofd00m3 i never got the Rhino. I think I`ll get it after i arx the Watchman. What atachements did you run?
@@snakehead214 The thing about the Rhino is that it's more adaptable than the Bull, while the Bull is better overall. The Rhino has access to an Advanced Laser Sight, Advanced Forward Grip, and Extended Magazines, so switching up your loadouts really lets the Rhino shine. It's a personal favorite to me.
I love terminus and it's sound... that carbine is awesome
Fallout 76
Cyberpunk 77
Camikaze 78
this is a WEIRD series
I love how almost every weapon on this list were some of my favorite weapons. Hahaha. Always love the content, Cami.
Hey man, nothing wrong with veering from the beaten path that is most travelled by the rest of the community! Glad you enjoyed it mate
Blitz my go to NC SMG for Infil fun since release
'Tis a really fun little SMG in the right hands mate!
The SABR-13 is one of my favorite assault rifles in the game, both in performance and aesthetics
Honestly i don't even mind that you play factions other than VS.
But the use of chevron sight over red dot/cross is just unforgivable.
3:52 my baby! ;o;
my top 3?
3: flare ve6
2: Pulsar lsw
1: freckin Thumper ma dood
the thumper is perfect to shred into pack of heavy with the disruptor ammo, no u wont have 20 kill but seeing a bunch of angry heavy running towards ur mates and making them a 180 degree turn, back to theyr medic is just so fun and satisfying.
also nothin to do with the video but am i the only one thinking the engi should have the assault riffle permantly? i mean not with the asp just having it.
You are totally right about the VS weapons. I have used the zenith for a while and I love the gun but people don’t seem to like it much
I dont think anyone hates it per say, its just a little overlooked because other carbines are objectively more powerful.
Then there is also the Horizon, which is considered by many as the best carbine in the game and fills the same role as the Zenith
Was surprised the Cycler TRV was not on this list xD
GD22S is an amazing gun. I much prefer it over the Anchor.
I'm looking at the vs obelisk, wondering if it's worth investing in a heat gun to mitigate ammo, I tend to live long enough between 2-3 fights to run out in the field as a combat medic, but I don't want to invest in ammo printer a 120 second timer per ammo seems not worth it
Very smooth! good job bro! Will try this load out for my next vid!!
You really seem to like that 167/577 damage model
can´t blame him for wanting to throw good punches
"[...] A good old stroke of the Emperor's wisdom" ... and here I was thinking they were a Republic
Funny thing when you dont do your homework and read lore tr has pressident he went through wormhole with us and got assasinated then the shit hit the fan real hard when we landed on auraxis
they "are"
What about the auto scouts? The first time I ever went toe to toe with a MAX as an infiltrator and came out the survivor I used an automatic scout rifle. The SMGs are way more popular and with the tape recorder and the punisher being capable at midrange the auto scouts get overlooked but they're still good and they're cheap. If you want an assault rifle on your infiltrator, I suggest the automatic scout rifle.
Carnage, TMG-50 and Saber are three of my favorite weapons!
All hail to the mighty bushginger!
My favorite underrated weapon is the NSX Tanto and the NSX Naginata. Zenith VX-5 is a favorite too.
Surprised not to see Reaper DMR in the list. I almost never get killed by one and when I play NC is my absolute favorite AR.
I would say, the Rebel pistol. It is basically a cheaper Comissioner, with 10 bullets and overall easier to use.
Ngl, I wish The Executive pistol was based on Rebel rather than just being a crappier version of Mag shot lol
EM6 with extended mag is pointhold META. Its basically a 200 round equivalent of the NC Medic's Gauss Rifle, which is also fantastic.
Haha EM6 go brrrt. On Connery I don't see the EM6 used a whole lot, which is why the weapon ended making the list, but glad to hear it is popular elsewhere!
@@CAMIKAZE78 Their loss. Most of the old-time vets on NC Miller swear by it to at least one capacity.
Been a TR main since planetside 1 back in 2003 and my first arurax weapon in PS2 was the AMR-66 *LOL*
The gd 22s was also my first lmg I bought
The SABR 13 still remains as the best assault rifle for any non CQC scenarios. I would even think it is THE best AR in the game right now compared to other faction ones.
7:09 GRENADE
I'm already expecting a salt storm in the comments so I might as well add to it a little:
Agree on the SABR-13 but for slightly different reasons. (SABR has also been nerfed a few times; or more specifically, the burst weapon changes and AR min damage changes make it less ridiculous than it used to be which might be part of the reason it's underrated.)
I think the TMG-50 is a good weapon, but considering the number of my TR friends that either run it as their main LMG or pick it up for anything resembling ranged combat I'm not sure I'd call it underrated.
Zenith is the best carbine available to the VS Engineer IMO. I use it a lot.
At least in my opinion I would take the auto scout rifle over the tomoe any day, I tríaled the tomoe and I didn’t really like it too much
@@patrickmurphy6578 i dunno, it feels like something missing on faction specific auto scout rifles... with 167 dpr damage model and slightly lower fire rate (650 changed to 600) the weapon could stay on same DPS but would require 3 headshots to kill a thing rather than 4... seriously, the weapon description says that this weapon type designed for much closer ranges department than sniper rifles so why not amplify that with 3 headshot kill pattern?
GD-22S is the gun I recommend to any NC player wanting a different LMG. It's proper nice and really good for it's price
or just get it from a mission...for free.
But isn't the ns 15 better in matter of laser beam play than the gd 22s.
Hey, nice video would love to see your settings for graphics and aim setting :)
He made a video on his graphics settings a little while ago.
the most underrated weapon in this would have to be burst varient of default carbine and assault rifle
those are so dam good at being laser accurate
The " emporers wisdom" nice add
VE-C Horizon I never see anyone else with it yet most of my kills are with it
Crazy good. I use it over the directive carbine.
It is considered by many to be the best carbine in the game. I see quite a few people with it, might just be coincidence that you haven't.
Insanely cool carbine, has high skill ceiling, but sadly it typically can only engage 1 enemy per reload.
@@aquapendulum With a 167/600 damage model and perfect accuracy, it can certainly do 2-3 kills per magazine with headshots. Even so, you're right that 1 kill per is more common. It also has a really fast reload though so I've never really had any issues with taking on multiple people
@@colinl.9361 I mainly play VS, but it’s sat on by most. You probably notice it because your killed by it a lot; it’s good.
sabr13 definitely isn't underrated now with angled foregrip + compensator (lolwhererecoil) plus the further tightening of horizontal recoil(can only jump twice in one direction now without variable intensity).
Shame about tmg-50 though(can jump 3 times per side, moving cof bloom implies it should be used at closer ranges - but TR already has plenty of good close range LMGs such as watchman/carv/mswr). Newly buffed carv-s, though, is excellent(at range).
FLARE!!!!
Horizon has to top my list, its criminal how little i see it being used,
i shove Unstable Ammo on it and it just eats everything alive, reloads? what reloads! this thing has a 1.6s reload,
you can mow down a dude and then BOOM its full ammo again.
it massively overachieves for how easy it is to use, its my perfect "drunk gun".
Zenith was one of my fastest auraxiums
What's with the high FOV wall hack??
This is pretty much a list of guns I am araxing now; with the exceptions of the GD-22S and EM6 which I araxed long ago. I love the EM6, it's what I run most the time on my NC heavy but I hhhhhhHHHATE the GD-22S, my second LMG arax, after getting good with the SAW it felt like such a downgrade like how the SAW-S fells like such a downgrade after the EM6.
mention Zenith, but not mention its 0,75 ADS movement? Or I just missed it?
Definitely missed it
Missed, and I immediately regret that.
I guess we won't talk about any burst fire or s equivalents of starter guns
ok here me out NS yumi, It has the charge up but if your smart thats no problem. With it's damage and versatility it's fun.
When I asked in outfit chat, if I should pick EM6 or EM1, noone sayed yes for EM1. People actually discouraged me from playing EM1. Other than GaussSaw and Anchor, I also get teamkilled by EM6 more than EM1, so it doesn't seem to me EM6 is underrated, quite the opposite.
and i said "screw you guys i´ll get me the EM1"
I think the EM6 just gets forgotten when put up against the gauss saw, anchor, and gd22. I ran it suppressed for a while and found it to be a great all around NC lmg.
Yeah but em1 isn't underrated, its just bad. (Or at least worse than other options). The em6 is underrated because it is often overlooked while still being a great weapon
Aren't most of the "Time to Gear Up" videos about using underappreciated weapons?
Lol jk.
Love the videos!
(Someday I'll get my loadout on your videos. Haha)
You aren't wrong mate... being completely honest.
Appreciate it boss!
Why is it every time you talk about the Terran Repubblic you mention an emperor? What am I missing?
40K joke I imagine
a stroke of the emperors wisdom
Why do I think that NC weapons are like Auzzies?
Friendly and can keep you safe from danger
tmg50 is a good gun regardless of faction. it's just solid
Man whens nc getting a double barrel shotgun
I wouldn't at all call the shadow scout rifle underated (it's a headshot machine sure but if you NEED those headshots to kill anybody), but the Warden battle rifle? Yeah definitely, thing is an absolute beast in the hands of a good infil player and with the right build and tactics can make those damn skillfit HA's miserable. Hell I'd almost argue the Gen 1 BRs should be made default weapons for infiltrators just for CQB versatility.
Whats your FOV?
The most underrated weapon is extended mags.
Good oL cougar that shit is OP
Wow that was fast
