I'd would like to hear a few comments on what is like adjusting back to being 'unpregnant'. Is it hard getting back to a more normal physical condition? Do you have any unusual feelings, emotions, or moods?
Other than feeling like I could cry I love her so much, no unusual emotions. And my back has had a rough go since the back labor. Taking care of a baby puts a lot of strain on your neck, shoulders and back because you're constantly looking down or leaned over. I think that's the toughest thing physically!
You're my favorite cuz I relate to you so much. I have a 18 month old boy and am a writer. His nap time is when I write, but gosh it can still be tricky to balance it all! Thanks for the videos😊
My Mom is betareading my book and she is so helpful, because she really takes the time to go through everything with me and tell me how she feels about it.
I think Mom characters are very interesting. I am really craving good mother - child relationships in books, because they are so rare. But there can be so much drama involved. Nothing is sadder than if a Mom loses her child. In the book: "Unlocked" from Karen Kingsbury I almost teared up every time it got to the Mom's perspective. What I don't like is if the Mom is kept oblivious and the kid keeps his adventures secret which happens in almost all children's books, even if the Mom is a really good person.
In my novel, there is a really young Mom with a five year old son. She was imprisoned when she was pregnant, so her son doesn't know any different and befriends the person who holds them captive without knowing why his Mom doesn't like him. She worries about her son and wonders if the captor wants to use him for something, but she's too afraid to shatter her son's perfect world and tell him the truth. She's also scared of what her captor will do if she tells him not to play with her son. The book isn't from the mother's perspective, but I really thought a lot about it and I really like her character.
I wish I could participate in this tag; it seems fun! I don't have a good mother figure, though, and I would never bash her openly to strangers on camera, like "She inspires my cruelest, most twisted-minded characters! 😉" 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I'm 22 weeks along in my pregnancy, but I'm still treating this weekend as my first Mother's Day because I've already been through so much to mother this baby 😂 physically, mentally, hormonally-- I've earned it! Haha
