    if the sample size is 158, would that be for each group? because if the sample size was 158 overall, that means you would need 26.333 in each group (6 groups) which Is not possible. A response would be greatly appreciated!!!

      Yes, that would be for each group. Just to be on the safe side, getting 28-30 participants in each group would be better.

      The number of groups you must be aproximate. So your groups must be have 27 o more participants

    what if there's more than 2 levels ? do we just repeat the process e.g. (sport positions = 3, phase of play = 3, level of readiness = 2) would it then be 2 x 2 x 1 --> df = 5? and then 8 groups?

      I have the same doubt lmao, did you get an answer? My dissertation is a factorial 2x2 and i am confused
