- We are back working on the G scale sci - fi layout! In this video we are going to work on the newest section and we are going to give it a Star Wars Galaxy's Edge look and feel to it. We will use some everyday objects and I will show you how to paint and weather them. I will also show you some new tips and techniques that can be used in any scale.
Hope you enjoy the video and happy modeling everyone!!!
"It's a Trap".... sorry I couldn't help myself 😄 Awesome build, your weathering is just so good I have no words! Can't wait to see more 😉
WOW, Thank you so very much Luke!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
Luke!! You beat me to it! 😜
I’d have to agree with Luke JJ!!!
@@jamesapowell3506 🤣🤣
Best use for a vacuum ever!
😂
I'm only in at 6 minutes and I'm subscribing. Good descriptions, captions, and showing close-ups of the materials used. Thank you Jason. I'm planning on a one shelf diorama of Luke, Obi-Wan, and the droids in that famous "These are not the Droids you want" scene in Mos Eisley.
Vacuum cleaner buildings, looks totally like star wars... see this things on the side of the road daily.... great call!
Once again,Your emagiation so only surpassed by your execution. Hail The Rust Man!
Thank you so much Bob!!! I always appreciate it!!
That's very detailed quality work. Awesome, indeed.
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!!
Absolutely brilliant. Felt like I was back on Batuu
Thank you so much!!! 👍
Awesome stuff. Those Dyson vacuum cleaners have so many great parts!!! Love the shoelaces idea! Thanks for that!
Thank you so much Brian!!! I really appreciate it!!!
Jason,
Another great video.
Thank you for sharing, some great weathing tips again.
Keep safe, Michael
Thank you so much Michael!!!
Jason, the 11 year old Sci Fi nerd in me is going nuts. Great build. I can imagine when you go shopping anywhere, you are constantly looking at things with a modelers eye. So funny. Your wife’s gonna be mad that you broke apart her expensive Dyson vacuum cleaner. Lol. But……,the parts were just too good not to, right? I would love to see you turn that old Star Wars ship into a train. That would be a great build. Thanks for another wonderful video. See ya next time.
Thank you so much Norman!!! I’m having so much fun with this! It’s hard to sleep at night, lol
I love how your imagination knows no bounds, the creative juice is flowing like a fast river!
Thank you so much Richard!!!
Amazing! Love it!🔥🔥🔥👏🏽
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
Very nicely done - I'm soooo impressed with this!
Thank you so much buddy!!! 👊
Thank you Jason. Great video
Cesar
Thank you so much Cesar!!!
Jason just watched it again. On the door, maybe light weathering it would make a good contrast to the heavy weathered building. Possible back story the door was just replaced. You could add a damaged door to the junk pile with some blaster holes in it. You know how it is once the wheels start turning all kinds ideas pop up. Have a good one. Love the dio.
Thank you so much Kevin!!! Great suggestion. I like adding a story to it! 👍
Amazing! I continue to be blown away by how you can look at one thing and see something else. A vacuum cleaner. Fantastic!
Thank you so very much Ed!!!
So cool! I cant wait to dive into Dioramas! Good job I cant wait to see the next vid.
Thank you so much!!! I really enjoy your videos! 👍
@@JasonJensenTrains Thanks! Ditto to that!
I love those girders from Plastruct but damn if they aren’t expensive. But they add lots of detail quickly. Plastruct is the best styrene supplier IMO. Looks good. You’re ole lady must be like mine.. long as I’m happy she don’t mind my mess. 😆
I hear ya! Hobbies can be expensive. That’s why I try to use found objects. 👍
Wow! Great job!
@@angelodedios8025 Thank you so very much and thanks for watching!!!
Great work Jason!
Thank you so very much!!! 👍
I love watching your progress on this. You never know what you're gonna get!
Thank you so much!!!
This is fantastic! Well done!
This SiFi build is amazing. Your collection of figures and other fighters needed a place to show them off. A collection in a box behind plastic is a waste of space. What you are doing is giving them a way to be admired. Again and again you show do for , I'm sure that vacuum was not working when you took it apart. As the two guys in Trading Places say at the end of the movie, " Looking good Billy Ray, Feeling good Louis!!" I will bet you your followers say the same after your Video.
Lol, Thank you so much Will!!! I always appreciate your comments!!! 👍
Thanks man!!! Kids and I love your videos
Thank you so very much, I really appreciate it!!!
ABSOLUTMENTE chingon ! se ve muy bien ... Nice job .. its an Astonishing project.. its gettin pretty good.
Once again Jason, this is just incredible, and yes, your weathering is absolutely masterful!

Great work once again you have such a great talent and all the stuff you use for the parts it’s out of this world lol 😀👍
Thank you so much Michael!!! I truly appreciate it!!!
Looks great!!!!!
Very cool. Love this.
Thank you!!! 👍
A beautiful and very inspiring work. Perhaps the ceiling of the penultimate level could use some detail, since it is very visible due to its height. As always a pleasure. Congratulations.
Thank you so much!!! Yes, I plan on LOTS of details such as pipes and wires hanging down. Thanks for watching, lots more to come…….
Fantastic weathering!! Not to mention your building skills!! Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so very much!!!!!
That is beautiful!
Thank you so much!!! 👍
Such a creative and brilliant diorama . Great weathering and rusting work . Bravo !
Thank you so very much!!!
Ahhh, the Bitter Sweet Chocolate. Seems I heard that on the J & J video.
Lol, it’s a must Lynn!!!

Small world. I’m from Tasmania too and enjoy Jason’s work
I mean how are people this talented and why cant I make something like this?
Simply amazing I don’t know what else to say !!
Thank you so much!!!
Looks fantastic! The I think my wife would have my head if I ripped apart our vacuum though. You’re braver than I am 🤣
Not if the Dyson has gone kaput.
Thank you so much!!! Check your local Goodwill for vacuum cleaners 👍
@@JasonJensenTrains haha! Good point
GOD THIS IS SO GOOD JASONNNNN
Thank you so much!!! 👍
YES! you're rockin it dude!
Thank you so much Bart!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains i'm gonna be sad when the project is over lol
Don’t worry, it will probably take me years to complete. It will be the never ending project, lol
@@JasonJensenTrains sounds good to me. once i get home from this deployment i have some things to do around the house then hopefully find some time to start my own
Another great looking diorama. It slowly comes together and I can't wait to see more of it.
Greetings Urs
Thank you so much Urs!!! I really appreciate it!!
I took apart my last vacuum and kept the pieces for future projects and you just gave me some great ideas.
Great build, it's looking awesome!
Thank you so much!!! Endless possibilities, happy modeling!!!
Nice 👍
Thank you!!! 👍
Absolutely fantastic! I love your sci-fi builds!
Thank you so very much!!!
Beautiful design for your train sets! Great idea to reincorporate found objects to make buildings, I'm sure Lucasfilm did the same thing. You really need to make the Millennium Falcon a lot dirtier, it's way too clean for that used look!
Thank you so much and yes I will be painting and weathering the Falcon! Endless amounts of fun!!!
Brilliant! I'm almost tempted to pull my hoover apart but my carpets would complain. Have you thought about slinging a tiny wee pair of space boots from the wires? :D
Thank you so much Lynn!!! That’s a great idea, lol
ステキですー!すごい!!
Partner : “ time to do the hoovering.....where’s the Dyson!?”
LOL!!!!!!
I wish I could do bleeding rust on the walls like that looks so good!!
Thank you so much!!! 👍
That is just outstanding, Jason. I swear, I thought those first two images at 0:54 were reference pictures from the Galaxy's Edge theme park! Seeing the paint bottles was a jaw drop moment.
Love your work, buddy.
Thank you so very much buddy!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
Very cool build
Thank you so much!!!
awesome
Thank you!!!
Hello Jason "Jedi" Jenson, 😉
It looks great! Your videos inspire me to create SF scenes in my H0 layout.
"May the Force be with you!"
Greetings from Franconia
Manfred
Thank you so much!!! May the force be with you and happy modeling!!!
this is a very cool projet, with this and your HO layout I assume you have work for some time :)
Thank you so much, I always appreciate hearing from you!!! 👍
thanks man
Thank you Joe!!! 👍
It’s late. I will watch this tomorrow. Later.
Cool, thanks Norman!!!
sweet
Thank you Joe!!!
It's been said already on FB, but you should really add some structure to hide the bottom curve of the protein powder bottle.
I’m definitely considering that. Thanks for watching!!!
love it all! but i am particularly interested in the round vent thingy at 16:56. did you make that or buy it? i'm not having any luck finding something similar.
thanks for sharing your super techniques!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it! I bought the vent off eBay.
Man that looks great is the main parts of the diorama made of foam? Also I wanted to make a tie fighter landing pad for my vintage collection tie fighters and I wanted the landing pad to be raised like a foot and a half tall but what should I make it out of?
What about cutting that ship in half and glue both sections back together at their rear surfaces after the connector is removed?
spectacular!! do yo have for 6" black series?
Thank you so much Rafael!!! I only have a couple 6 inch figures but my collection is all 3.75 inch figures. Thanks for watching, I truly appreciate it!!!
Hey Jason what scale matches my 1/35 scale models. HO, N, G, O ?
It’s in between O scale and G scale. I think it’s closer to O scale.
oh, forgot to ask if you had a link for the correct mesh from home depot?
Resistance is futile.......not!! The force was with you on your build
How did Glue diwn the Foam down
Safety railings? It can't be an Imperial facility so, no guard rails or OSHA in the Empire. 😀
LOL, thanks for watching!!! 👍
☑️ SUBSCRIBED!!! 🤩🤩🤩🪚🪛🗜️🔨
Your wife is still talking to you after deconstructing her Dyson???😁
LOL, I go to a lot of garage sales and second hand stores. One mans trash is another mans treasure!!!! 👍
ZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzz
This channel is called "Jason Jensen Trains" but we never see Jase doing any training, if we don't get to see him hitting the gym and pumping iron soon I'm going to demand a refund
LOL, that is so funny!!! No one has ever said that before. I love it!!! Thanks for watching buddy!
