- Manipur has witnessed a fresh flare up of violence in the last few days. ThePrint journalists Ananya Bhardwaj & Suraj Singh Bisht have been travelling across the violence-hit state over the last one week. Internet ban lifted protests has subsided to nil dated 16 September. Did she mention about a student who is admitted to ICU because of police actions? There's is still a comatose pregnant woman who unfortunately lost her child and she is in ICU, all because of excessive police action. There's a vast difference between the hills and the valley, the way how these protesters are being handled. In hill districts, protestors come out with knife , lathis ,guns, and they cause arson and burn vehicles but there's no action against them. These disparity is frustrating for the valley protestors who are protesting with a peaceful intent. That's why the protests eventually turn violent because of the excessive action and disparity of the police.

There's Manipur police in the hills too, they are the same Manipur police as in the valley. You can look up who the the senior officials are in Manipur police, and you can see for yourself if it's not representative enough of the diversity of Manipur.

Who said Meiteis want removal of central forces, the crpf and bsf are guarding the buffer zone , so the kuki can no more shoot at the villagers from mountain top.hence kuki started using 7-9km range rockets.
Meiteis insurgents were at the brink of extinction with their surrendering with weapons. The kukis revive them with this conflict. The same with araambai T . There were only 3-4 people left with arambai before the conflict which then soared to thousands to defend their people.
Indian government should be aware of kuki link with khalistani organisation for anti India activities, cross border of smuggling of weapons drugs and sheltering of illegal kuki immigrants from Myanmar, destruction of reserved forest land for poppy cultivation . The government should also take note on the kuki ethnic cleansing of minority Meiteis in kuki majority district destroying their properties and burning down their houses . Another issue is how kuki can built rockets but can't write and documents,( not even a single page) about their history in Manipur. Their history starts only with British that's not even 200 years and they have the nerve to demand 60% of the land areas of Manipur ignoring the small 33 other tr ibal communities.

Ananya avoided meeting the affected Valley citizens and instead went straitway to Churachandpur and possibly to Moreh only to tell the stories of the other side. The Valley citizens of Manipur has a much more dangerous national media war launched against them by the national media than by the Kuki started war to annihiltate the valley citizens
Making interview to give insight from both kuki-meite is useless as they are blinded with hatred. Its better to ask third party who knows about this violence well like an example nagas
Pained at the suffering of our fellow Manipuris. The fact that the situation has been see-sawing between sides for more a year and a half is unbelievable.
