Great video. You have a new subscriber. One bit of feedback your fretboard animations are upside down. A more traditional notation has EADGBE from bottom to top. I’ve been playing for 15+ years, the current top to bottom notation messes with my brain. 😂

Hello Josh, thanks for the feedback! The fretboard animation is setup as it would be if you were looking at yourself in a mirror. I've tried several different configurations (with the headstock on the left/right side and EADGBE from bottom to top as you mentioned), and for most of the fellow guitarist that I asked, the current layout seems to be the most intuitive, hence the design choice. Although everyone certainly has their preferences. I'm considering creating a practice tool (app or web service) that would allow the user to customize the fretboard configuration.

I get it’s like watching a left handed player facing you. It just looks wrong to my brain. Since, guitar tabs and most written musical notation, high notes are written towards the top low notes on the bottom, it goes against all my intuitions. That’s my two cents, and it doesn’t really matter what one guy like me thinks if the feedback you are getting is generally positive. I appreciate the massive effort you must put in to animate all this.

It is true that most musical notation is written with high notes at the top. I think I'll do a poll because I'd be interested to see if there are others who think the same as you. Although if I changed it at this point that might be even more confusing since older videos on the channel won't be the same 😂

Yes, it seems upside down, very confusing. Everything else is spot on! Great tone, playing, etc. Thank you!'
