My man, family feud was literally never a family show. Look up bloopers with Richard Dawson and you'll see that people always gave these types of answers. Maybe it's more now, but it's been this way in some capacity since the show started. Humans have always been this way throughout all of time and space. I just remembered a good example. I think the question was something along the lines of, "what do you call your wife?" And one guy said, "bitch." And yeah that was when Richard was hosting.
R.D. used to damn near molest the women on stage! Always kissing and grabbing places that today would not be allowed! I've always enjoyed this show since I was a small child, and R.D. used to creep me out and make me uncomfortable. The answers have always been the same tho!
