Just today I put a hub motor from a cart on the middle back of an old Radio Flyer leaving the wheels intact. I hadn't thought of walking it backwards and I really like your super clean deck. I will be using it to carry tools and project materials to my workplace.
Love it! I have the same cart, but added solid 5/8" solid axles and dual wheels all-around. The cart will be used to haul gold processing equipment to and from the beach and hauling 5 gallon buckets of water from the ocean back to the equipment at the top of the beach. Now all I need is to know the gear sizes and chain info, please. The rest I got from your video. Thank you in advance for any info. PS: Have welder.
how far will this wagon go on a charge? I have a spot that I go to that is about 1.7 miles each way. Any chance this makes it on a chage with two batteries like that?
Building this unit now thanks for showing us your start ,can you tell us how you made out? Anyone looking for some information on this I have all the info you need. The only comment I will make is that motor really should be hugging the tray as those tires will kick up sand right into the motor.
I just ordered the Gorilla Cart and the motor from E-Bay. Couldn’t’t find the same throttle. Need help with source for thumb control (Brand) and please post number of teeth on Axle sprocket. I am 70 and will be using in yard. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
The prototype looks awesome, great idea and simple . I’m just a little worried how the sand and the salt of water he ocean are going to affect the components or gear of the cart. Anyways I love the simplicity. Thank you !
Really need your help. I have tried for hours to locate the forward and reverse switch you are using. To no luck. Please, please post the information for your throttle control and the forward and reverse switch. I am sure there are many more other than myself that will benefit from your information.
Hi there, I am trying to make basically exact same thing and for the exact same reason but with 8020 T-Frame. I saw the same motors on ebay. Would you please, PLEASE, post link for the parts - bearing, axle, battery, chain, teeth sprocket, etc - the mechanical portion would help.
Can you provide a parts list, links to where to purchase everything for this build? Thanks

Where did you get the axle from and the brackets you used to mount everything?
Hello, did you eliminate its's main controller and installed a PWM for the forward & reverse just wondering how you did it ?
Thanks.

How much weight does this rig approx tow?? We have a pretty big annual family trip. Just trying to get an idea.
Do you think a winch motor could be modified to motorize one of these carts?
Is that front steering axle from a kit? Trying to build a cart but I can't find a front steering axle unless it's cannibalized from an existing one
Would a gear reduction motor be better to reduce the speed? Planning on building one but want to get the right parts! Thanks
No Answer huh ??

Where did u get the Chain drive gear for the rear wheels ?
Any advice on what axel and wheels to buy?
Based on my research, snowblower tires seem to be the best economically. Any home improvement/ hardware should have steel rods and fasteners.

How much weight do you think this will haul?? We have a pretty big family trip to the beach every year. I'm definitely tired of pulling a cart.
I was wondering if you still have the parts list to build your Beach cart
NICE WORK!

Yep, sand is like water and will find a way to get in and mess things up.

Parts list? Cost?
Good concept. Might I offer an improvement? Put a hitch on it so it could be carried on the receiver of a truck or car.
Great idea, but I live 2 blocks from the beach.

Did anyone fine the axle info?
Cool!
Why film it in super narrow screen?
500w 24v battery with 24v 5A should dont give you an hour at full speed. More like 15 min.
