My kids bought Me a new Roku TV las X-mas. However, I still have my non Roku TV Set with the fire stick light and prime Subscipt. I would like to put the newer one in the living room, the older one in the bedroom I’m not sure how to go about What devices to keep 🤯 to get rid of may I please have your opinion on what would be the best solution for me. Now that I have the New Roku TV.😂🙏 PS I have had to remove quite a few apps because I don’t have room to install the latest versions of the other apps so much needed space is needed as well😳
All of my applications are for the Amazon fire stick. I do not have anything for Roku TV. Kodi is a very large app. You would take up less space installing smaller applications. A little FYI. For the ones that cant get the zip to work, all you have to do is disable your VPN then it will work. After you get everything installed, then go ahead and enable your VPN. Your good to go now.
@@teddyearp To be honest it could be the issue with Fire stick just doesn't work so well with Kodi zips. I have mine installed on a Fire TV Cube and it works as long as you disable VPN while installing. Then enable it once installed.
Please go into your settings then click on applications then click on manage installed applications. Then you can select whichever app you would like and clear the cache on each one of them.

Followed your tutorial and everything worked great, but only for 2 days. Now when trying to get movies, search works fine but when I select movie and Kodi tries to load sources it just exits the load process without displaying any. Everything was initially loaded onto a clean Firestick. Thanks.
For some reason when trying to install the Diggz zenon free skin, it comes up with this error? ‘The dependency on inputstream.adaptive version 19.0.0 could not be satisfied.’ ? Any idea how to resolve it?

Hi mate you do some good tutorials however I don't know if you know but the diggz build has an update and he's merged his builds together but it's broke the epg and also it boots you out of the app for no reason too it worked perfectly before I don't get why the need to merge the build diggz if you see this please fix it unless you know a work around which ive trued everything from tuning settings on and iff unchecked if force settings in playback ect it's annoying....

I was able to grab the diggz file, but when I try to “install from zip file”and select, then ok. It doesn’t install. Instead I’m taken back to my firestick Home Screen, please advise. Thank you!

Works just fine for me, however the links it finds for each movie seems to be of SD quality with a few being 1080p. Is there a way to find better quality movies? I didn’t use a fire stick, i installed it directly onto my Sony TV.

Sorry, this is not my build. I definitely do not want to take credit for somebody else’s hard work. Out of the different options that are available. This is just my favorite. As I mentioned before a lot of the different add-ons have 4K, but it depends on how old the movie is and what links are available. If you need further help, please try checking some of the forms online dedicated to this build.
Only the 1.1 was available right before you get to the option to pick your skin. Then once you get to the kodi skin options there's no option to pick the skin. It let's you browse but you can't select
I’ve spent literally hours trying to do this, from the build a week or 2 before this, to this one. I’ve probably spent at least 40 hours over the past 10 years in front of my TV dealing with Kodi. Always issues. I got to apply skin and nothing, sit for 20 minutes after applying skin and nothing, it goes back to the same screen. And advice would be appreciated sir?
@@ElectricalMD I checked for updates.. there was none, the last update was 20Aug24. I restarted the fire stick, and hit “apply skin” and it seems to have got a little further this time.. it’s been sitting at “formatting content 75%” for about 20 minutes now. 🤦🏻

Howdy! Thanks for the informational videos. It's been years since I've used Kodi - thought I'd try again. followed your step by step to a T... verified all the spelling, order of operations, etc... but after I added the repo.... Kodi loads with just a black screen - no gui at all. Removed everything, restarted Firestick - added it all back in the same way - same result. Ideas?
My recommendation is to restart your fire stick and re-open the app if you were still having issues using kodi after that, please try using some of the other applications in my store as you will find their easier to use and navigate

Are the apps safer than before? A couple years ago they had apps riddled with spyware and backdoor access to your network by those that offer services. Would you recommend buying a separate stick just for Kodi and keep the main for all of your other programs for more security?
@ElectricalMD it seems to give a blank screen on some 4k movies so I'm not sure what's happening. I'll hear audio, but the entire screen turns black. I thought maybe that device can't handle some formats?

I have the problem with getting kicked out of Kodi when I'm installing from zip. I'm not using a VPN, I'm on a firestik 4k max. Damn it sucks.

Found ONE glitch so far in this Kodi build:
the BBC iplayer addon does not allow LIVE TV.
Hope it gets updated.
I've tried Kodi a few times but all I ever get is failed to load or you need xyz added in. Is it worth the hassle? Not to me.

I recommend using a VPN. That way you were own Internet provider cannot see what you’re doing.
I only have the Xenon Free option and not the Xenon Plus…what did I do wrong?

Is this Kodi much different than the Kodi from your prior video?

Worked eventually (after several tries and reboots) but it's just confirmed to me that Kodi is just a buffering waste of time.
Are the apps safer than before? A couple years ago they had apps riddled with spyware and backdoor access to your network by those that offer services. Would you recommend buying a separate stick just for Kodi and keep the main for all of your other programs for more security?

@ElectricalMD it seems to give a blank screen on some 4k movies so I'm not sure what's happening. I'll hear audio, but the entire screen turns black.
I thought maybe that device can't handle some formats?
