    1. NTA. I'm disappointed in Lola. I love hearing her opinion as she reads the stories but I can't stand when people think that just because someone is your parent, it means that you have to keep a relationship with them. The wife wasn't respecting OPs boundaries and it was not her place to try to mend their relationship. I understand how it is to cut off a parent, I also did so too
    2. NTA. I get how annoying that is to hear 24/7. I would be so upset.
    3. That sucks, and sad that your son covered for him. I hope things get better
    4. NTA. That was kind. Your roommate is just a little jealous, or scared that his gf will leave him or something
    5. I don't know lol
    6. Unfinished story, but I would be a little upset too

@@xxjustbriaxx9653 that's true, but I'm disappointed because she's one of those people who push you to push aside the pain your family has caused you just because you're related. I can't stand those people and I really like Lola, so I'm just sad about that, but you're right

@@_sophie.love_ yeah I agree it's not childish to not want your kid to talk to someone who traumatized you even if you're family

2:35 you're saying OP needs to let bygones be bygones with the mom but yall are the same people who would say "Burn that bridge" if it was the dad. Double standard.

story1: I get what lola is trying to say, but the wife shouldn't be the one to mend the relationship for her husband

I'm disappointed I love the narrators but story 1:HOW ARE U ON THE MOTHERS SIDE she LITREALLY cheated on her husband wich tore apart the family and if he doesnt wanna reach out to his sis he doesnt have to if your boyfriend was cheating on you after a over a decade long relationship u would be like "fuck this I deserve better" just because it's a girl bro

    1. Nta I would say bad things about sis but I won’t but if somebody cheats once in a over 16 year relation ship then there must be other things going on and for the narrator would it be the same if the husband screwed up or is that her opinion on bother genders and sorry to bring it up but I’ve watched plenty of hers and there seems to be a slight byass

    1. He is an asshole. He doesn't have to have a relationship with his mom or sister, but his wife has a right to let their child get to know the kid's cousins and aunt/uncle. I get it, my parents are divorced, but as a child in the situation you have no idea the full scope of the relationship. Holding that "mistake" the mom made against her when we have NO IDEA what the relationship was like before that is stupid, immature, and completely ignores how real life works. I'd understand if the mom or sister did anything to HIM directly, but I think cutting your family off for a reason like that is childish. I don't talk to my mother, but that's because she's abusive and mentally ill, not because she cheated on my dad?
Edit: Notice how the dad is minipulating the guy against his own wife to leave her? The dad sounds sketch af,esp using "sounds like something your mom would do" when its not even a big deal? If anything she should run far from him
