I discovered this cover awhile back and listen to it often. I think it's great. Never knew or listened to Luna Sea before. Then one day I decided to listen to Luna Sea play this song and found a live version of it. They kick ass on this song. Also it made me realize why Haraguchi-san picks up her mic stand. Ya, Nemophila does covers the best. It is better than the original if for no other reason than we get vocals by Haraguchii-sun and the mic stand attempted throw.. in a live MV of this song by Luna Sea the bass player picks up the mic stand and hurls it back.

I just watched the original and, with experience, it was far better than the Nemophila video. One thing I noticed was that the drummer didn’t hit the cymbal during the verse…better. I’m sure this would be better with an audience. Thanks for speaking out! 🎶 Cyd
Are you saying that I’m obligated to enjoy listening to Luna Sea’s studio version of Rosier because of the lore? Why do you pedants have to always insist that nothing can be enjoyed on its own merit? I think this version sounds better. I prefer Mayu’s voice and Saki’s instrumental section for my own listening pleasure. None of that invalidates Luna Sea’s place in Japan’s contemporary musical tradition.
