I know nobody really cares but im gonna say it anyway, im probably a bit too young to be watching m4f videos but these make me really happy because my dad has anger issues and he gets angry really easily and a lot of the time when he gets angry he yells and he's so unpredictable, whenever he walks into a room i never know if he's gonna be in a good or bad mood and sometimes its not just yelling, sometimes he'll break things and i know that he's trying to get better and i know he's improved a lot over the years but the fear i feel whenever he gets mad and even when he doesn't get mad at me specifically never goes away. And i know he's not a bad person at all! He's not abusive towards anyone in my family and most of the time he's really nice! But he still scares me
Age doesn't matter where comfort is concerned. And for the record if he scares you, even if he does love you, that's still traumatic and assuming the things he breaks are not his then yeah, that's abuse. It's complicated and you need to do your own research and speak to a therapist, but as much as you love and care for others you need to take care of yourself first. You can't take people in if you're house is on fire.

My father never said it to me but by choosing to never be in my life and for example prioritize his bands gig the day after his only child's first birthday rather then to be there when I turned one. That was the last time we heard from him until I was 18. His absence made me feel like I could never be good enough, perfect enough and so on, cause whatever I did he would never reach out to me. And when he finally did he never apologized and never gave me an explanation.

So I’ve been in my room having lone time because I don’t want to talk with my family and listening to these comfort audios to feel better. It’s so unfair that I get in trouble for something so little while my little sister is way worse then me but that’s never the case with her. Again thank you so much for making this I feel better and sorry for making this a big deal.

my parents divorced recently, and after that i lost all contact with my dad, he was not the best person but he raised me, i found out a week ago that he has several new girlfriends and it kind of hurts to see him doing “well” while my siblings and I miss him everyday
my dad just threw a metal crate at me bc i said i was going to give the dogs water after i clean up and hes slamming things in the house now im in my room on the floor in the corner of my room im 14 idk what to do im scared

Why is it that strangers can be a better father than my real one who left did not pay child support said “I’m gonna pick you and you’re sister today” only to never show up and then to have his girlfriend that the only reason why he left my mom and my sister’s was because she couldn’t give my dad a son only for them to have a daughter get mad when I said I didn’t want to go see Disney on ice for my 2 sister because I’m a brat who doesn’t know what life is and how much he refuses to accept his mistakes only to hit me and act confused about a injury on my shoulder that I got as a child when I fell and then slap me right after for crying wow father of the year 😊 (I’m sorry for the rant I know is nobody responsibility)
