Interesting, thanks for your thoughts. We’re looking at the 40 Sedan too, as it seems to cater for our plans across southern UK, European inland, and northern Med, and maybe the Eastern Atlantic.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. Please note that our yachts 40'and above are B certified, so eastern atlantic depends on what you plan to do exactly. All of the other areas are no problem.

@@LinssenyachtsNL Thanks Linssen for your reply, that’s great to know. We are planning UK to the Baltic inland, Scandinavia, then France inland, the northern med to Italy & Croatia, return to France via Sardinia, then Spain, Portugal and back to the UK.
We have very loose plans at this time, but we expect to spend up to 3 years to do this.
As you can see, our eastern Atlantic is along the Spanish , Portuguese and French coast. If we do this too quickly, we’ll repeat it! We wish to have only 1 boat, and Linssen is the top choice, a 40 or 45 Sedan. We have much to learn before this though, but these are the plans as they stand today. Despot much searching, I haven’t seen any Linssen vessels on the coastal ocean, which is an imperative for us. Or, we will need to experience this for ourselves.
Our trip would be recorded from start to finish, and we are happy to share this to you.. thanks! 🙏

We have a client that has a (older) Grand Sturdy in a marina in Villamoura Portugal. He wrote an article for us about that.

He is there with his yacht for good and cruises there a lot. (facebook.com/willy.vermeylen.3)

Thanks for the candid thoughts on your boating perspective, your buying process, through some on the choice and intended uses. Very helpful to get an English perspective as that boating community is heavily narrow boat focused.
