Fantastic singing. I love the womanly and bright tone she produces in her middle despite its slightly occluded and darkened tone (a very intriguing and unusual combination), and her control over her low register as well as her high one is very commendable. Some really great chest notes here. But what I definitely like the most about Rebeka, especially in this performance, is her very clear, well shaped sense of the vocal line, how the notes are woven into each other, how the words are linked to the musical score. That's realy impeccable musicianship.
Wonderful singing in every way. One of the most talented sopranos on stage now. She does have a true belcanto line, very difficult to be found among modern singers. Excelent.
So glad this wonderful artist is getting more and more recognition, especially on this channel! She's definitely one of the very best singers today, gives hope that the art of opera is not dead. It's been a great journey watching Marina grow and evolve with every year, a thing we cannot really say about all the Old Greats - we already know everything about them, their good years, their bad years, the directions their voices took etc. We know their careers from beginning to end, their stories have already closed, that's what they are to most of us, young opera lovers - they're legends, or dare I say even gods :D With Marina here we are the witnesses of a legend just forming, a singer we can actually see and hear live, talk to if we're lucky and even follow on social media! A great reminder that every "opera god/ess" was a human, not some mytical creature lol
Spectacular artist... with a 3+ octave voice from a deep contralto bottom all the way up to a clean F6 and exquisite, refined vocal technique she sings in the most beautiful way the most difficult (Assoluta) repertoire without compromises...
@@j.j.schlachtfeld9325 I wasn't referring to occasional 1-2 boos that come after accidents... if a singer of today was singing with Tebaldi's off tunes she would be bood constantly everywhere
Lohengrin O If Netrebko can be applauded endlessly despite possessing 1/4 of Tebaldi’s endowment, than I think the woman would have been fine in this day and age.
Magnificent. Maria Stuarda's tragedy is here an evidence with the miracle of Marina's singing. Indeed the theatre is in her voice. A picture and a voice.
Sublime, This is what I love about RUclips, It allows us the opportunity to meet interesting and incredibly talented people. Thanks for this post I will go look her up. BRAVA BRAVA!!!!!!!!
I find glorious focused chest nots as thrilling as great too notes. Very few achieved both in abundance. This is, again a great treat going to bed. Happy New Year to you. ❤️👋
