Good voice but interpretation lacks understanding of Rachmaninov (or Russian music in general). And very twisted, bordering unnatural, Russian phrasing. Sometimes simpler is better.

Opera Restored Russian is her mothers tongue, Latvian is her second language. I don’t hear twisted and unnatural Russian phrasing. I believe she might have an accent, but I don’t understand where does she has these “unnatural” phrases. This is one of the best examples of opera singer doing chamber music - ascetic staging and perfect control of the breath. Brava Marina !
