I don’t have a lot of money, and i can’t buy merch or a course right now - but you best believe that when I earn enough money, I’m gonna buy stuff from you. Brother your channel has been instrumental for me starting my health journey. I’m overweight, depressed, always in pain, suffering from sciatica and to be quite honest, am overwhelmed. For someone new to working out and being healthy, where on earth do I start!?
Start with small goals. I suggest you start dropping bad food habits one at a time and replace with better ones. Get on the treadmill like he shows, walking backwards. Or if no treadmill just walk backwards pushing through the toes. Do other mobility exercises he has like elephant walk adapted for what you can do. And for your mind, practice gratitude. This is a new goal right here... practicing just the knees over toes lunges and the anterior tibialis work has already nearly doubled my squatting strength... adding this to the regimen should make the power of my squats all that much more!

I like that you say no exercise is “bad” per se. It always bothers me when people demonize particular movements or ways of performing a movement; if your body can do it, it’s probably natural and not bad! You might just have to work up to it
Hey mr Patrick, I've been commenting for a while now and am grateful for every single sliver of wisdom you offer. I had a knee injury not so long ago and incorporated ATG and have seen big improvements but im still at the unassisted but elevated stage so Im here to ask. Is it okay of i rest in a deep squat? Is Slant squat stronger or weaker than ATG squat? I have been struggling to progress with ATG squats - my knees do not hurt during but are sore/achy for 4-5 days after (not assisted). Thank you so much for your content! I do believe ATG squats got me at least to walk again with no pain - just can't run yet...
Slant squat compared to no heel elevation will certainly be more knee dominant! If your are looking to strengthen the knees it is hard to beat the slant board squat! I would also make sure you are training backwards walking or reverse sled as well as reverse step-ups and split squats. Great route you can use which can help you get back to running pain-free!
@@TheKneesovertoesguy I appreciate your time responding to this! - Yes, I understand the difference between flat footed squat now and one on a slant board! What I wanted to ask is if slant board squat maybe easier on knees than ATG single leg squat?

Can atg repair someone's knee with arthritis?
Have helped many improve from their arthritic knee issues: kneesovertoesguy.medium.com/confronting-the-1-2-3-of-cartilage-arthritis-knee-replacement-b9882d3c93c6
If it’s a knee issue, chances are my programs have helped more people with it than any other! Simply because my programs focus on pain-free ability! The more of it you have, the less likely this is to be an issue. This starts as simple as backwards walking and is step 1.

Omg man 300 lbs let’s get me moving I wanna skate like usher swim like an Olympian hula like an Hawaiian jump rope like an champion, and I’m 50 ish oh and Dunk like Kobe. However I am a woman so hear me roar with your response
That’s incredible and love the goals! Rooting for you and keep me posted!
Mobility is nice, but is there some cash value to knee strength beyond that? ... like... can this guy kick field goals?
I have personally trained and helped a number of the top earners in sport. Playing without knee pain and surgeries is huge value. I’ve consistently helped athletes make many more millions. And for me, being healthy and being able to play with my kids freely, being able to dunk… is PRICELESS, compared to my surgery / painkiller life before knees over toes. ❤️
So the progression is backwards walk to atg split squat? That’s crazy lol.
Backwards walk, to reverse step-up, to split squat, to squat. Watch this video: The ATG 4-Step Knee Checklist
