Though I am also mother I will like to suggest you don't put much hanging ,and decorative things, also sharp items, glass items in kids bedroom.
There is one stage when they start exploring every thing with sound, and by throwing.
At that time lots of things might hurt or broke.
I hope you understood what I mean.
If you want to decorate room use stickers, soft toys, books etc. Which youu can remove after few years.
Take care of yourself and your little angles.
