Claudia blocking the sun for Nicola in the tea shop was so sweet. Such a subtle yet considerate gesture that not only shows genuine kindness but also, true friendship and compassion
She knew the sun would hurt her eyes and she didn't want her to be hurt🥺 that's a real friend
Love these two. And after I found out that Nicola is actually 35 years old and Claudia is 32, I love them even more! Great acting, so convincing! I saw Nicola in Derry Girls, she looks so young and perky and innocent. I envy her.

The only problem with this tour was that it was far too short. I'd watch 20 minutes of Nicola and Claudia taking us around the set.

Omg .. I have seen Derry Girls and yet I dint realise it was her.
At 1:34 Claudia naturally steps to the side to block out the sun hitting Nicola's face mid-conversation. Speaks volumes about her character and their friendship.
She definitely seems like a really nice person I love watching her. Although I have to say doing this alone doesn’t show someone’s character, I know people who do this gesture and other gestures like these and they have a bad character. It’s important to get to know people before knowing what are really like.
The whole set is glamorous. I feel as if everything is cohesive right from the start. Nicola Coughlan and Claudia Jessie’s friendship is truly admirable. Can’t wait for S2 to finally drop on the 25th! It sure is gonna be worth the wait.

The lighting for this show is a masterpiece as well as the cinematography. When I watch this show it seems so different than when I look at the sets in this video. Without the lighting in the show the gentleman's club could have passed for a parlor. This is so cool.

It’s crazy how they’re in their 30s and yet they convincingly play teenagers, awkward ones at that. Their friendship on an off screen is so inspiring and amazing to see.
I wish shows had more teenagers like this instead of the ones in todays society. Obviously Bridgerton is set in a time period where teenagers weren’t even allowed to be sexually active or all of those other things but it’s just really refreshing to see awkward teenagers being awkward.

The set and costume design are simply breathtaking I can't wait to see Bridgerton Season Two next week
Those 2 are my favorites, they are so cute and I can see why they are friends. Can’t wait for seasons 4 and 5 when they are the objects of desire.

3:30 I find it really interesting that they described this house as “the most feminine house” on account of all the pink as pink was actually considered a masculine color in the 19th century. So, technically speaking, her house is the most masculine house.
I also doubt they put much thought behind the the colors and their symbolism but, in the late 18th century, pink somewhat became a color associated with childhood and innocence, so it would make sense that Danbury’s home would be pink given how she was essentially the one who gave Simon his childhood back.
Set designers always think of symbolism and realism.
I love your observations of the colors in their historical context! These things are fascinating and how time passing changes context.
