0:40 Had an experience like that a few years ago. I wasn’t hearing from God and was upset that other people could and I couldn’t. So I prayed to God and asked him to answer me. This verse I had never heard of before popped into my head: Psalm 3:4. When I opened my Bible, it said: “I was crying out to the Lord with my voice And He answered me from His holy mountain”
One thing I've learned is that when it comes to praying it doesn't matter if it's only 15 seconds, or 3 minutes, or even 8 minutes. As long as we give time to God he'll hear us and our prayers. Reading the Bible, praying, or just resting in God's peace and not doing anything can be a great thing. And if we give gratification and thanks to the Lord what he's done it can help us grow closer to him.
Please pray for me, I'm struggling with very bad thunderstorm anxiety 😰😭🙏 I've suffered from this for months and I'm sick of living in the constant fear that my life is in danger every time a storm rolls by my area
Isaiah 41:10 NLT [10] Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT [6] Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 41:11-13 NLT [11] “See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. [12] You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing. [13] For I hold you by your right hand- I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.
gratitude is really one of the key elements to growing in our relationship with God. even through life’s hardest and darkest moments, there is always something to be thankful for, even if you have lost everything like Job, you still have life and you still have Jesus.
@@Unknown-bf3iw i believe you’ll know it is genuine gratitude when you are thankful for the smallest things in life, such as being able to wake up another day, have clothes on your back, being able to and food on your table every night. honestly for me man, reaching rock bottom, and through life’s toughest battles and storms, you learn to be so grateful for even the smallest things. because, since you truly know what it feels like to have nothing, you realize how much you take many things in life for granted, you’ll be so grateful for the smallest things in life, even for each breath God provides for you and I.

We have a King who will reign forever in heaven and on earth. Let us praise and serve Him endlessyl. Thank you Jesus our King of Kings and Lord of Lords 🙏
I remember that I used to pray using these pray videos on loop, and almost kind of got to the point where I was just using them almost as a chore. I guess for me I had a fear for a while that If I didn't use like some special words of some people more wise than me in my walk with God, that he wouldn't hear my prayers. So eventually I decided to spend more time by myself without youtube or things like that for prayer and he still listened. So in retrospect I have nothing against prayer videos but I do believe that there is a time and a place for both. And that in the big picture we should be our best to not just make time for God, but to actually spend time with God.
I remember i was and i'm thinking about adult things and that makes me feel like vomit and i thinked that everyday and i prayed to God and days later my brother got a letter from the psychiatrist and they said that i could come with them to help with my mind. Thanks God❤.
Fellow Christians: This November, Floridians will vote whether to allow Amendment 4 which protects abortion be allowed in the state's constitution. For those living in Florida, will you be voting this election to protect the unborn? And Mr. will you be praying for it not to pass? Please pray for the unborn in this state. Thanx, God bless.
You're saying "it's the thing that caused me to start praying in tongues a lot more"; Isn't tongues just a way the Apostles used to communicate to a crowd of people in which they all spoke a different language? You saying that it helped you pray in tongues doesn't make sense for me and it would be great if you could explain. God bless.
No there’s 4 different types. That’s one of them, then you have a translator tongue which is when someone interprets in Church. Then you have groans from the spirit (Romans 8:24) and then you have self edifying tongues. Self edifying is when the Holy Spirit intercedes for you, he prays on your behalf. Paul even writes that he thanks God he does it more than anyone of his time.
@@fs.ryanwalker Did you mistakenly put Romans 8:24, it just says "For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance." But thanks for elaborating, I understand better now

yes I love speaking to God like I am speaking to a family member rather than reciting prayers at church, it feels more authentic.
