Honest I really want to defeat lust but not for the reason you think. Yes one reason is because I’ve gotten closer to God and I’ve started reading the Bible and praying daily and you know the Bible says faith without works is a dead faith so I’m trying to follow the word but that’s not the main reason why I want to defeat lust. Honestly ever since I’ve had this reconnection with God life has been great in fact life hasn’t been this good in a long time. I know love waking up everyday and I work a job where I’m my own boss I set my own hours and it’s a dream job I love doing it. The problem is because I have a job where I set my own hours that means I doesn’t really matter when I wake up. What that leads to is me trying to go to bed at a decent time but instead I fall into the trap and pull up my phone and before I know it it’s really late. So now when I wake up from sleep I have next to no time to do my work because before I know it my family is going to be home and I gotta cook for them and clean so long story short it’s a days work that I’ve wasted. Don’t get me wrong me wasting these days isn’t going to cause me to get fired per day it’s more like every second I waste doing something else is a second someone out there can be better then me and take my spot so honestly I want to defeat lust so I can stay on a consistent schedule and not miss any days because if I don’t straighten up now this dream job of mine could be gone in an instant

Not gonna lie my walk lately has been extremely sinful on another level lately. I got delivered from something that was getting out of control and recently I've been thinking about certain moments I knew God was in on in the process of this happening. One thing I noticed is he moved his hand when I asked for something that pertains to his will. Suddenly I realized maybe it works with sin in general. Mabye what I should consider doing after repenting next time I ask for whatever I know I need before starting my day. And maybe try involving the Lord in everything I do wether I'm working or resting at home. This last week showed a conflict in myself I can't seem to resolve. Maybe I should pay that in his hands too. The has been extremely dark and at this point I'm reading looking for some kind of light. Great video man. I needed your perspective on this topic.
