I would have done anything if he could have lived longer... Every day when he was very old I would pray for another day with him... I would pray for more time... These more than 14 months without him are the worst and every time I open Facebook I'm reminded of him because I don't even want to change my profile photo from the first picture of him that I took myself... It's almost reaching 15 months and about 3 weeks since he had died... May 1, 2020 would make it 15months and about 3 weeks since he died...
I'm sorry to hear that... Any pet dying sucks. It really does. But, I have some advice. I know, it's probably going to make you angry, but... Try and look back at the happy times with you and them. Celebrate the fact that they were alive in the first place. Life isn't kind, and often cruel. But... Don't let life's cruelty drag you down. Celebrate the good times you had with them, and the fact that they probably made your day brighter.
I'm sorry you lost him, but maybe he's smiling down on you at this very moment, I've lost so many pets that I know remembering and treasuring your time with them helps a lot.
