I thought this was about a dead lover since how sad it seemed and the fact that they had been missing them for two years, then it said that they had walked away and he wanted them to come home. It somehow made it sadder. Obviously this song could be applied to anyone missing anyone. Still probably one of the saddest nightcores I've heard that doesn't obviously involve death or abuse.
It could still mean that they died.

They don't like the music style
They clicked on the wrong video because I don't know, maybe they were looking for a different song?
They're a western art teacher that doesn't appreciate the beauty of an anime style and doesn't want others to enjoy it either. (To that category, you don't understand the crazy fantastic lighting that most anime pieces have. Your students might bennifit from that kind of practice. Just make sure they know the ACTUAL proportions and can use them, and then let them do whatever the freak they want. It's art, friend.)
This songs gives off a sad vibe. Like 2 lovers happily together then one day, one lover was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor told them they had 2 years left, and the other was devastated. The line “These 24 months(2 years) felt like 10 years” Makes me think that the time they last spent together felt like an eternity that he/she wouldn’t want to leave, then after they died, the one lover knew they had to let go, and so on.
I’m probably wrong, and this might sound pretty stupid, but that’s just what I think about in this song...

I've sort of learned this on my journey of writing my novel. While the characters and worlds in the story may not be real, the book itself is, and so are the emotions we feel when reading it. So, if the book is real, and your emotions are real, what's to say the characters can't be real? In writing my novel, I've learned just how much my characters take after me, and how much i cherish them, and the journey they walk. And all novelists are the same, for the most part. We all write our stories to show the world bits of ourselves, which are very real.
...I don't really know where I was going with this, but in a different point of view, reality is sort of fantastic, isn't it?
@@redella50 U r right about that we have created many worlds with just a click of button u can travel all of them also that being a novelist I know u can experience that everything in your mind. But the fact that it can never be real hits so hard😞😞😭. Also u may just feel everything that u want in fantasies like when you watch some random anime u feel like u r the main character in it, it may be a highschool love affair or some sci-fi action but it can never be real 😞

After a while, I got tired of chasin' after u. U made things so hard that I could never catch up. I was tryin' to force somethin' that just wasn't there. It felt like I was beggin' for u to reciprocate the love I was givin', when in reality, u just never felt the same way I did. That's when it clicked, I could no longer beg for u to love me/give me the attention that I desired. So I took myself out of the equa°, closed that chapter (my) life & started a new 1. It was time for me to find the true love (my) life that I had lost in the process (lovin') u...myself.
This is kinda inspiring, I also have the same scenario. He is half of my happiness, my actual escape, he's my best friend and my safe place. That's why I'm trying to throw away my feelings.. I know I'll never been anything more than a friend. That hits me hard today, I figured that I might just not be anyone to him at all, he's so speacial to me yet I don't think I mean anything. However, his friendship is what I desire and it is enough, I don't need him to return my feelings, I know he does care, he's a really good friend.. that's why I'll hold on.. I still come back to this video when I remember my dog and start to feel sad about his death.
He died in 2019 and this house still doesn't feel like home. He had a medical condition that made him cough all the time. He sat by my door when I was in my room and by the front door when I left the house for any reason. He coughed so much that I've grown so used to hearing it before going to bed every night. Now I sometimes can't sleep unless I play the only video ever recorded of him. it's the video where he actually played with our cat when we first got her. It was the first and only time he played with another animal. They were so close too.
My cat would sit next to him and sleep next to him sometimes. She had a hard time sleeping without him for a while and now she sleeps like she normally does.
I usually stay up all night unable to sleep sometimes and at times I get so tired that I fall asleep randomly when I'm not trying to because I sometimes can't sleep due to how quiet the house is.
