Yuppieville does have a nice Riverwalk. They have a 9/11 Memorial that includes part of a beam from the Towers and a stone saying that one of the victims was a Navy Officer that was at the Pentagon at the time from Naperville.

Depends on what side of Chicago you are talking about. I would stay away from west and south side but they aren’t as sketchy as people say.
North side is nice
