      @@digitalSixer Definitely do this trail. Trail is very rocky and the second half is all uphill but so worth it with all the waterfalls, the creek, and lake. One of my favorite trails. Enjoy it.

    Love that hike. So many waterfalls. Lots of devastation from the fire though. Really cool place to camp as well.

      @@waterfallmadman It's such an amazing trail. You just don't get that anywhere else. After years I finally got to it. So happy. Yes, lots of devastation from the 2017 fire. But without the burn marks on the trees you wouldn't know. I figured if I was gonna do that hike and camp might as well go all the way. Glad I did. Thanks for watching the video.

    Such an amazing hike! The waterfalls along the Eagle Creek Trail are absolutely breathtaking, and walking behind Tunnel Falls must have been such a cool experience. You captured the beauty of the trail perfectly, and now I’m inspired to check it out myself. Thanks for sharing this adventure!

      @@Zoomdak Thanks for the compliment. It's such an amazing trail. I had a blast. Tunnel Falls was definitely the highlight. Some of the other Falls like Twister Falls weren't flowing at full strength so they are even more spectacular later in the season. Highly recommend you do this one. Thanks for watching.

      I didn't get to do much hiking, but I went to Multnomah Falls in July 2018, right after it opened back up after the fire. We had great timing a few days earlier, and we'd have missed it like we missed other waterfalls that were on a road still closed. It's disgusting that someone would do such an act of terror on wildlife and people. I know people were trapped on some of those trails 👣 when the fire broke out. I'm so glad that the brat got caught. A lot of people's once in a lifetime trip was ruined. We stayed by the Bridge of the God's ❤. It's beautiful 😍 there.

      @@ConnieHatch-zl9fp Yep, a bunch of trails along the Gorge were closed. I moved to the PNW in 2020 and some trails were just reopening. 2018 was not a good time for people wanting to hike along the Gorge. I agree, it is awful what happened to the wildlife, forest, and hikers. The punishment was pathetic by the judge. Bridge of the Gods is iconic. Cascade Locks is great. A lot of good trails there.

    Did you have to get a permit to stay along the trail? If so, who did you contact to request a permit? And what time of year did you do this hike? Thanks. Loved the video!

      @@crismccoy6513 Glad you liked the video. You don't need a permit at all which is really nice. It can be a very crowded trail during the weekend. Highly recommend you go during weekday just to avoid the crowds and easier parking as well. I went early September. Some waterfalls aren't flowing full strength but they are still flowing. One of the best trails in the PNW for sure. Thanks for watching.

    Is the fire 🔥 that destroyed those 🌳 trees from that brat from Washington in Sep. 2017?

    • @PacificNWHiker
      @PacificNWHiker  Месяц назад

      Yes. It was this trail where the 15 year-old brat playing with fireworks started the fire. Judge gave no punishment except to write an apology letter. Fire jumped the river into Washington which is crazy. Trail was closed for years. I'm happy the trail was able to reopen. It is amazing. Thanks for watching.
