So these are the old cars and yet they look so good. ..Wow. Everything is so clean also. Thanks for sharing this video. This is something I would have never seen.
In Caracas the model is classified as Series 30000 and in Istanbul it is Series 1000 but it has its differences; In Caracas the formation of a train is seven cars (except the trains of line 3 because the length of the platform is six cars), while in Istanbul the formation is four cars and can be coupled with another train giving As a result, a formation of eight cars, in automatic piloting, in Caracas the trains use the PA135KHZ automatic piloting guided by tapestry or Greek carpet, while in Istanbul they use the CBTC
In fact, these cars are pretty much similar (if not the same) as the Caracas metro 30000 series from the mid 90s, but the design of the cars was made in Venezuela during the mid to late 70s when the subway project got approved, and it was used until the late 2000s.
They are indeed the same but painted differently and with different signalling system Caracas Metro 10000, 20000, 40000, 50000, and 80000 (which also have the same external appearance as the 30000) are still running tho there's fewer trains because a lot of them have already reached the end of their usable life and very little maintenance is done partly due to negligence and partly due to the economic crisis which makes it hard to find resources to repair the trains; some of them have been refurbished in the last 4 years tho trains with this design were produced between 1981 (the first 10000s) and 2007 (the last 80000s)
We sent Caracas an R46 car to play with when the system was planned. Notice how the car body ends are almost touching and they don't need safety chains and platform bollards. Humans can still be trusted to take care of themselves in some societies.
here a couple of videos of this amazing train type running in Caracas , sadly they are 99% inoperative due to corruption !! ruclips.net/video/Vp-YOtIE0gU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Vaxa8-W0kmY/видео.html
There alstom trains used work on the M2 yenikapı-hacıosman line there was only the problem with this train the inside of the trains smelled of rust and ı was very disturbed by this 5 years passed and there trains were no longer working on the M2 yenikapı-hacıosman line and ı chould understand the value of alstom trains since that day ...

ahh yes, the M6. Istanbul's metro line with the lowest ridership in the entire network. Mainly used by students of the Boğaziçi University, that is located at the end of the line.

I would love to see front views of the tunnels in these different countries. I am fascinated by the construction of subway tunnels, especially in NYC.

the original was released from factory in 1981 for the line 1 in Caracas,
