I'm a new barista and while at work i've been thinking about how relaxing some of the sounds are to me, oddly enough, like steaming milk, opening/closing fridges, and grinding the coffee beans. Really enjoyed this video. :)
I've let this audio play on my big stereo while writing my bachelor thesis. I struggled hard with writing at home in complete silence because it is hard to focus. Music is distracting me too, but the effect of this background noise on my studying and writing is insane, and I would never have thought it could be so easy to concentrate. Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing your video, how wonderfully simple. I love these natural sounds - so much more restful to me than 'relaxation' music. We film natural walks through cities mainly in Europe (and have just started filming coffee shop ambience too) so it's lovely to see others doing the same. Let's help relax the world together. We look forward to more from you.
Currently working on a plan of action... i always find myself distracted by everything and nothing while trying to work at home... this definitely helped me fall into the focus zone. thanks! :)
Studying bipolar illness from kleinian and post-kleinian perspectives with this. pretty sure i've tried all coffee shop background noise there is and this is my favorite so far. thanks for the upload!
Finishing up a big, course-long English project and music is hella distracting. This helped me focus so much, thank you! (I work at Starbucks, and I love the sounds. Sat at my store for 8 hours yesterday to work on this project, the familiar environment lets me understand whats going on around me without my having to pay too much attention to it!)
Writing my master thesis in Molecular Biology :-) I tried alpha waves and classical music/meditation like and it helped for a while... this is working much better and it cancels the noise from my colleagues and laboratory much better ! When I am at home in complete silence I saw that I was getting very anxious and this helps me relax a lot. thanks !
oh cool! hahaha let me guess, the purpose of your research is to help target obesity? lol sorry if I got that wrong. When I do my masters I want to do some work related to ageing or gene therapy. CRISPR for example is very popular now and I might focus on that area.
sorry, I didn't see your answer until today. Yes, exactly, obesity, T2DM, etc... :-) I was also quite interested in aging and epigenetics, it was (still is) hard to chose the line of work when everything is so fascinating !! Good luck with your degree :-)
reminds me of when i would work on my drawings for class in coffee shops in the city or in the student lounge, its hard for me to focus on my work now without the hustle and bustle, thank you for this!
Duff The Psych please make some more of these videos of coffee shop background noise or bar background noise. The other videos on youtube that are not yours are looped and I quickly get bored of the loop. Your videos are much much better because they are not looped and are natural.
currently doing my engineering thesis on how the shape of bubbles can affect the temperature required to remove deposits on medical 😷 instruments. listening 👂 to this to escape the loud 🔊 silence 🔇 of the library. thanks.
Using this (like your other one) to lesson plan and grade my students' essays. I've recommended it to quite a few of them since it's a first-year-of-college kinda course and they're in need of some good habits!
Omg yessss I love these types of videos. I like listening to ASMR but sometimes it's more distracting than helpful while studying or working. Right now I am working on an application for an internship in D.C. -- if I get it, I will give you some credit ;)
New subscriber! I love all kinds of background noise/ASMR videos. I am able to focus so much more on working, studying, reading or whatever else I'm trying to get done. Listening to music just doesn't do it for me!
Oh wow. I had just discovered your other Coffee Shop Background video a few days ago and wished there were more to listen to. Lucky timing for me, I guess. Another hour of simulated relaxation. Thank you. :P
I'm writing a story for a deadline and these background noise things are super helpful. Just to be clear, the deadline is entirely my fault because I want to post a not-yet-written Christmas special on an as-yet un-posted and un-betaed story... Yes, I'm an idiot.
I'm at the office working on the digitalisation of e-learning raw content, ;-) tahnks a lot! I recommend adding some kind of soft music, for instance Woody Allen movies soundtrack, works like a charm! Have a good day, everybody!
I very recently, a bit over a week ago, moved out from my parents' home for studies. I'm sixteen. I play stuff like this when I go to sleep, because I won't be able to fall asleep otherwise :')
Try listening to "Cafe Jazz Music 10 Hours - Relaxing Coffee Shop Background Music" at the same time as this and adjust the volumes to your liking. Perfect!! Thanks
Anyone know the song that starts at 11:28 ? Listening while WFH during Covid-19. Helps me stay focused like I am back at the office. Thank you for the content :)
do you think it has a certain effect if you could understand what they're saying opposed to not understanding it? does it affect on how productive you could be? Seriously...I'm Filipino so I understand what they're saying..
I do actually. If you became fluent in a language before a certain age, it is actually localized somewhat differently within the brain. When I hear tagolog it is not competing for mental real estate with the english that I am reading or hearing.
This is great, but there was something Japanese-sounding in the background, and as someone studying Japanese I got distracted for a second every time I heard it, although ot could just be a similar speech pattern. 😂

I love this one. The fact that they aren't speaking English really helps me from getting distracted from what I'm doing.
Yeah same here
I was totally thinking that :)
I'm a new barista and while at work i've been thinking about how relaxing some of the sounds are to me, oddly enough, like steaming milk, opening/closing fridges, and grinding the coffee beans. Really enjoyed this video. :)
Nice. Hope work is treating you well
Ooopo
I know most people are using this to study, but I was sick for a week and played this when I felt too alone. It was comforting.
i hear a filipino conversation in the somewhat right side of the audio loool. this is very relaxing :)
This is perfect. I love that it's not a looped recording. Thank you.
is it not? sounds looped to me.
My favourite coffee shop audio. The quality of the recording is the closest to actually being there. Thank you!

True
I was "studying" when I saw this video in my subscriptions and I literally screeched. So happy and thankful for this!

The joy when I found out you had made another one. Thank you so much! This will get me in the perfect e-mail writing-mood.
Inbox zerrrooooo

Transcriptional regulation of a microRNA involved in brown adipogenesis
:-D

Currently writing about the staging of Ancient Greek tragedy in modern society and this is so helpful! Thanks so much!
Currently studying for my organic chemistry final exam and have been listening to HOURS of this kind of content.
good luck on the test! Have you checked out my "behind the bar" video yet?
reminds me of when i would work on my drawings for class in coffee shops in the city or in the student lounge, its hard for me to focus on my work now without the hustle and bustle, thank you for this!
You're exactly who I had in mind. Hope this helps you be creative or productive
This is a lot more better than studying music, thanks a lot
Lol, the Tagalog. My neighborhood Starbucks pretty much. Love your background noise vids btw.
Pretty diverse area around me. Thanks!
Was shocked at first lol 😂😂😂
Tagalog haha. I was shocked!

best of both worlds as studying at home yet feels like i'm in the café - perfect :)
Sprawl II....I am so here. Thanks!

this is my go to video for my accounting finals ! Thank you ! :)
Using this (like your other one) to lesson plan and grade my students' essays. I've recommended it to quite a few of them since it's a first-year-of-college kinda course and they're in need of some good habits!
Awesome!
Yessss I used this to write today and it was really nice. Thank you for the upload!
Yess, this just motivated me to start studying. Thank you!
Omg yessss I love these types of videos. I like listening to ASMR but sometimes it's more distracting than helpful while studying or working. Right now I am working on an application for an internship in D.C. -- if I get it, I will give you some credit ;)
What kind of internship??
If I got the internship I would get to work in a congressional office for 10 weeks!
Emily McPherson Oooo how cool! Best of luck. Let me know if you get it so I can say congrats!
thanks audible.com
Love this so much!! I concentrate SO much better with some type of sound in the background.
Really useful to concentrate on my "Launching new ventures" essay.

Try listening to "Cafe Jazz Music 10 Hours - Relaxing Coffee Shop Background Music" at the same time as this and adjust the volumes to your liking. Perfect!! Thanks
As soon as the video started, I could tell there were some fellow Filipinos.
can you make a video like this but for a bar or restaurant 🍴? if not i understand
Got a bit distracted with the Tagalog in the background, but otherwise this is very helpful!
I'm using it for focusing on my school homework, and to cover the distracting sounds of my brother's couughing
I'm sewing a blanket for my cousin's baby when she's born!
One for me too!!
Duff The Psych Sure, why not! (If there's an address i can send it to i will honestly make one although it could take a bit of time)
Kimi Smith noooo I was just joking. You focus on your new little family member. If you feel that inspired make them two :-p
Anyone know the song that starts at 11:28 ?
Listening while WFH during Covid-19. Helps me stay focused like I am back at the office. Thank you for the content :)
I use this to brush people off when they call 😂
Cool video, typo in intro card though :)
Thanks! hahaha derp.
I like it, but it just reminds me of work 😭
Now that's depressing!
Tsismisan pa more😂😂😂
Language is TAGALOG dialect namin

I'm studying how the Indo-Eurasian peoples isolated and distinguished themselves, starting in about 4000 BCE.
Fascinating!
When the group of women speaking a foreign language is actually your ethnicity's language and you're trying to understand what they are talking about.
haha yeah :D There are actually quite a few different ethnic groups that come in to that shop throughout the week.
Is there an MP3 of this available?
Can someone answer that frickin' phone...!!!?
Narinig ko mama ko hahaha
I forgot I had this in another tab and the laughing at the beginning scared me xd
I work part time at Starbucks so this actually is stressing me out :/ I already have frappucino nightmares😂 #triggered
Well it's a coffee bean so.... 😜
This is great, but there was something Japanese-sounding in the background, and as someone studying Japanese I got distracted for a second every time I heard it, although ot could just be a similar speech pattern. 😂
When I heard the Tagalog, I feLT tHaT
Hahaha Welp, there goes my fellow Filipinos.
I like it except for when someone throws something in the sink.
the fact that they're speaking filipino is a lot more distracting to me HAHA I'm trying to listen to their conversations

What the fuck is this
Sound
I'd say so
