Australians were once world champions at selling products. This was done by appealing to the customer. The old simple idea of marketing to the people that buy your products. But that idea is now for dinosaurs. Marketing is now weirdly about sending the right message. Even if that message loses millions of dollars. Let’s have a beer and discuss how to sell products the right way. With some awesome examples. Cheers!

Beer.
I believe Seppo "lite" beer is actually low carb not low alcohol. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Enjoy the videos.
Already boycotting. In USA I've drank/drunk Miller Lite for the last decade because in my middle age my digestive tract doesn't work like it did in my 20'S. Miller lite gives me the least amount of heart burn and thicker beers like Newcastle or such fill me up instantly, not allowing for sustained buzz drinking.
Then I see this corporate maligning of it's customer base directly from the marketing directors and I did my research. So far I haven't seen any customer maligning from Heineken here in the USA. So I looked up their brands and I see Tecate Light. I'm drinking this now instead of AB or MC. It's still made on the continent. I Just hope Heineken doesn't start an attack on longtime customers campaign as well. I'm running out of what my digestive tract can handle.
My humor is not out of touch or fratty and you can't scream about women in bikinis while saying only fans is female empowerment (generally speaking) and expect me not to feel insulted or have a double standard thrown my way as a male.
If these companies simply apologized for attacking their customer base for stating fratty out of touch humor by the marketing director or implying men forced attractive female models into ad campaigns like the models had a gun to their head; then this would all go back to normal for me. Till then at least the Mexicans making my Tecate Light can get a paycheck.
I hate to say it I'll Bundy said it best don't mess with our beer you figure the wine drinkers would understand that by now oh well

Props to the new marketing lady. I don’t think any man could have tanked a beer company that quickly. Truly a remarkable achievement for all womankind
The marketing lady didn't tank Anheuser-Busch InBev. Shares for Anheuser-Busch InBev are valued higher than they were a year ago. That advertisement didn't harm Anheuser-Busch InBev. It's braindead or delusional to think it did. You do know, the vast majority of adult population that drink Anheuser-Busch InBev products don't give two-shits about this nonsense this video is crying about, right? it's so rare that I see commercials. It's weird having to learn about them just to know what NOT to buy.
I don't see any of these commercials until RUclipsrs make brutal takedown videos about them... 🤣
The irony is that the target demographic these beer companies are trying so hard to desperately reach are exactly the people who don't watch their commercials. So in the end, the only people who see their commercials are the remaining demographic they had, and they end up pushing those people away. Brilliant!
