I think this game is brilliant! I named it "Walk the Plank!" Instead of "getting out", Students who cannot complete the command have to "Walk the Plank". It seemed to follow the theme :) Also, Captains Daughter would talk like a valley girl and say, "Like, oh my goodness/gosh, or Like, I'm so hot!" Mermaids say, "Hello there sailor" in a high pitched voice. Star fish link arms and to the fish face.
I remeber I played this at a confirmation retreat.At first we thought we were to cool to play the second they said "Ships.Last man out." We all ran like crazy.
I played this game in hand camp today. It was fun. But instead, we had 4 men rowing, 3 men eating, ships, sailors, starfish. But these commands are better!!!!
Freda Chang It can! I’ve had success with younger kids, though I have had more success with some other games for that age! Movement is great for young kids. Lots of instructions can get confusing. I keep it simple when calling instructions.

I have a question. My hisband and I are new youth leaders at a small church. We want to start an Instagram page. Do we have to get permission from parents before posting worship, and game pictures with their children in them? Is that what you did? If so, is a permission slip sufficient? We live in California.
Sarah Mendez Hi Sarah! When I film, the event the kids are coming to us specifically a filming, meaning they all know what they’re coming to. I would maybe ask parents before posting their kids (better safe than sorry), until your families understand that’s part of your ministry, and the people that choose to opt out of a digital presence self-police and remove themselves from group pictures. I always make it clear that if you don’t wish for your child to be on any social media that they have to self-police it. I can’t remember which kids of the 90-100 at our middle school lock-in which one or two didn’t want their picture taken

You know theres a comand its very dangroues its shark attack they have to freeze and you will do a target on them and i went to spring camp play kitty in the corner and four corners
wee have a game very simpler game called captains coning a cored or we named it Jordanians game and add sum silly ones in as well boom swing is duck down captains coming a bored saloot man over bored run left man the life bots run right add silley ones lick faster same one you did last time but faster it a grate game whichever way you play it
