Thanks for all the new KP3 content recently! Would be interested to see a video about it as a MIDI controller. I've always thought the XY pad would be a really cool way to control any two parameters within the DAW. I tried setting it up some time ago but I kept getting a particular error. I'm on Windows 10 and I've got the KP3, not the Plus version. The error was something along the lines of "Cannot find KP3" Also, have you thought about starting up a Discord? It would be cool to have a dedicated channel for a little KP3 sub-community in there!
Absolutley, have heard of King Tubby. Lapalux performances are very FX heavy, and super interesting, and also uses the KP3 in combination with a midi controler

Get an NTS-1 - best purchase EVER and I have barely scratched the surface. If it wasn't for the sampler and granulizer effects I'd be using my KP3 as an LED unit.
i understand all of this bussing and routing but i just want to know what exact cables to use. can you explain becauase my cables are givng me feedback. balanced? unbalenced?
The KP3 is unbalanced RCA out and in. Ideally you would use two RCA to 1/4 jack cables. The cable going from the KP3 would then go in to a stereo DI box in to your interface or you could go in to instrument inputs on your interface if you have them. Then (again ideally) the other cable would go from your interface in to a stereo reamp box to get the level to unbalanced/instrument level and then in to your KP3. Full disclosure though, I don't use a di or reamp box, I just go straight in to two inputs on my ADAT and straight out of two inputs from my interface in to my KP3. The noise your getting could be a ground loop thing. Might want to try plugging both the kp3 and your interface in to a decent power conditioner or mauve at least use a stereo DI between the kp3 and your input on your interface.
i might try it your way in the future.. but im kinda stuck in my old way , of using my analog mixer to pick what i send to the KP3 ... and im stepping away from the computer a bit a focusing on live jamming and never stopping the music , loopy pro , sp-404 mk2 , logic remote , etc ... Cool video tho .. thanks
Hi. Is it possible to save a set of 4 samplers so as not to load one by one again? and i have a 2 second vocal sampler that is at the bpm of the song i want to practice on but they sound like squirrels. A video would help me a lot. thank you.

I haven't used FL Studio in a long time so I really couldn't say. I imagine that the I/O set up is similar to what I've shown here - though I don't know if there is a plugin in FL studio that does the same thing as pipeline. You could always just route a channel out to the KP3 and create a return track that takes the output from the KP3.

I have two kORG kAOSS and running thru my MiniNova all I can say is WOW the other thru my Roland MC-707 and will never sell them
