I love this band, was there. It was an amazing concert. Sounds exactly like the album. The floor of the concert was shaking when I was there of how powerful his vocals were. Loved it. This singer is with Amorphis since the album Eclipse and most songs on every album have this combination of growls and clean singing. Just a few songs here and there with only cleans like House Of Sleep and Sacrifice. Just go through their albums on Spotify , you wont be dissapointed if you like this song.

but that does not mean he is great. Rhythm (bass and drums) section in Amorphis is average at best. Very basic patterns, no dynamics, bass guitarist with pick playing what guitar plays but in different octave... Band has great vocalist and great and interesting guitar section, great drummer would bring the whole band up to new level.
+TheOklep simplicity is their concept. amorphis is most about the vibe on live shows. i still dont think that drummer suck. Drums give characteristics to music and turns it what it has to be. :)
Well when you are young you think metal is about brutality - that it should sound like rabid dog minced in meat grinder comped with machine guns. Then you get older and understand that skillful musicians can do whatever they want, and still sound good.
