@@Lythp He's actually a more prominent character in the Counterstrike expansion missions, which explain why he spends the whole game brooding after he personally witnessed the Soviet forces attacking and destroying his home town. There's more to him than meets the eye at the first glance, really. Personally, I prefer him over the German guy, Gunter von Esling. 🙂

I actually really enjoyed the Soviet side of the story , the cliff hanger ending also
