The other day my friends and I went a couple games and the game literally just started and my friend tried to deflect with Sephiroth and I used Kazuya’s deflect and he died instantly
I was having Kazuya CPU fighting each character in Smash for fun and in the battle with King Dedede, he did that same move to reflect the Gordo back at Dedede which he defended against but still shattered his shield. I was very surprised to see that he had a reflected ability.
Hah yeah, it's nuts that Kazuya has one of those tools. I think if he reflects a projectile, it deals more dmg and knocks more. But it kinda is hard to use it on that moment. Especially online which i happen to pull it off against young link.
@@Yomartin it’s pretty easy to perform consistently, it’s just basically a dash, then stop dashing, and do a dash attack. Since its an input move it has a teensie bit of delay too so you can either get screwed by that or use it to your advantage
You'd be surprised! I've played Y. Link for fun sometimes against Ganondorf. I just keep hitting him with arrows until the knockback causes him to go off the stage... eventually.

Best game of my life and we were both camping for an entire 7 minutes.

I appreciate the fact that while Kazuya’s reflector is the strongest in the game, it’s also the hardest one to input. Legit, I’ve gotten more EWGF’s than reflectors. xD

I remember seeing a comment somewhere justifying the strength of Kazuya's reflector because it's more complex to pull off than other reflectors. Uh huh, because ➡️➡️🅰️ is SUCH a technical input.
I mean fighting Kazuya in CQC is also a terrible idea since he is designed for that...so you'd think your best bet is to use projectiles. Not to forget to mention it's a 2.4x multiplier which is on top of heavy and super armor, invincibility, auto-grabs, his own projectiles, AND a ten hit combo that's an automatic 40% aka kill percentage for him against all but heavy weights.
