Naveed is taken from the Persian name for the bearer of good news Naveed was also Raine's best friend. Naveed was Iranian and one day he told Raine the background (of the name) was a person referred to as a bearer of good news. 'Naveed' talked about someone scared to die, but at the same time interested in it. Naveed unexpectedly died from a gunshot wound. Raine took the concept of Naveed & placed it in the dark optimism of music. Naveed traveled the distance between mysticism & bitter reality
i hate when people say his voice is terrible live, this song was originally recorded so long ago at a time when he could easily reach those high notes, his voice is amazing, if you don't like it then go listen to some auto tune shit.
Jeremy Taggart's drums sound amazing here. He is so underrated. Those buzz ghost notes...pure magic.

What a riff!. Zeppelinesque Both parties screwed up.
Why did he leave anyway? Safe to say they were never the same without him.
