What I understand about this very versatile composer is that this orchestration arrangement mainly came from Goan musicians whose instrumental music was largely western. Yet he blended that that with some haunting melodies that extended to Punjabi folk music. Indeed a contribution to Indian music.

All the singers are excellent & have done full Justice to O P Nayyar music. The only thing that will make it more enjoyable is that when one singer is singing, the other singers will stop pacing back & forth on the stage and creating a diversion for the audience. If they stay in one place the audience will enjoy the excellent performances even more.

I have watched This group live in Rotary District 3070 Conference at Amritsar where Sangeeta Melekar and Rana Chatterjee performed. The group is really awesome. We enjoyed a lot.
