Like Aubrey’s ACL, I was also torn during All-Stars weekend. Even though team USA took an L, the hype of the matchup boosted views and definitely showcased the league.
Hearing Paige say cuss words like it’s crazy but like I’m not really freaking out because she’s 22 years old and she usually doesn’t like to cuss because she knows she has a younger audience of fans and doesn’t wanna influence it but if she’s asked a question that has a cuss word in it like she’s obviously gonna say it. " then Geno goes on podcasts saying Caitlin will never make it in the WNBA and Diana Taurasi puts Caitlin down and says Paige Bueckers is the real star. People are watching all the games and know for themselves the style of each player in the NCAA and WNBA. Plus, can see everyone's personalities.

The reason was because Geno is a coach. As an expert he sees more than the average person when it comes to skill and talent. He himself said that Paige was more all-around player which meant she's strong in more categories than just shooting the 3 and assists. Caitlin does a few things well, where as Paige had been demonstrating (for a long time) both offensive and defensive strengths. We've heard about Paige since her high school days. Didn't know Caitlin existed until last year for me. And I've been a WBB fan a long, long time. So I don't think it's him pushing UConn players but in general he can see the differences in skill between them. Try not to make it more than it was.
