Bloodborne is in fact such an incredibly good written Lovecraft story, one could imagine that HP himself couldve written it. Truely an outstanding experience for every fan of cosmic horror which will probably never be replicated or even topped by any other game

I think the music choice was excellent. Gwyns theme is iconic and I love it to death but I feel using Demons Souls ost was more appropriate. It is the game that started it all, after all.

@Luis Martinez I personally don't enjoy ds2 either but it's important to remember there was still a lot of passion/inspiration behind the project. But the development was what ultimately killed it (in my personal opinion). I don't think it's exactly fair to just blindly say ds2 bad, as much as I'd agree on the quality. Luckily though they had the proper time/money to develop some kick ass dlcs.
Beautiful tribute. These games have left such a lasting impression on me. It's changed my taste in games, my perspective on what I think is important in a game, how a story should be told through a game, etc. They might be my favorite games I've ever played.
@unsungzero612 Couldn't have put it better myself although it was actually playing Nioh that got me to try Bloodborne again and the art direction is astonishing. I'm just starting through Dark Souls Remastered but I've bought all the Souls games now. Hooked.
This game saved me from literal suicidal level depression. Taught me that I need to persevere, learn, and fight back to be successful (not just in the games but in real life). This game has a special place in my heart and can't wait to have my son play it as well, as I know it'll help build his character.
Sometimes I wish I could thank the guy who introduced me to FromSoftware at a party at 4am. Guy showed me Sekiro and told me it was the best game he ever played. Downloaded it out of curiosity one month later. Fast forward 1 year, I have finished Sekiro, Bloodborne and DS3, and about to start Demon Souls. Damn these games grow on you....
@@wheatfat was kinda tempted to get the switch to play it recently but I have to go past Demon's Souls Remaster first which is getting hard where I am in the game haha and then Elden ring, but it's on the bucket list ;)

I've always loved the Dark Souls games because Miyazaki doesn't make easy games he makes challenging games that anybody can play and beat if they have the patience. Without Miyazaki I would not have fallen in love with hard games that challenge you
This was a beautiful video, really like the famous sentences you picked to voice. Miyazaki said himself that he have taken inspiration and knowledge from all previous FromSoftware games into Elden Ring. After all those great games, how much hype can a boy like me handle? Im gonna get real tarnished before jan. 21st haha, like who needs january when you have Elden ring? The community too is amazing, and the friendly summons from DS3 which im currently playing, gonna hit over 300 hrs in that game soon. DS3 is my first FromSoftware game and it amazed me how different it is from other games, much more quality made. I have truly loved every game since. Nice video man. I am at the same point as you. I always liked action games, but there's no better combat on a rpg then the one we get on fromsoftware games. The sound effects, the music...all are made to make a feeling of a epic moment and you feel the intimidating effect, mostly on the first time, and they become unforgettable. Most bosses on games I cant even recall what it felt like, but we never forget fromsofware bosses. Personally it's one of my favorite aspects on a game is music. I even recorded the moment I platinum sekiro, which I never did before...never felt so good finish a game like these. Nice tribute! I can relate to your emotion towards these games.

For me in particular the souls games ruined gaming for me literally. The souls not sekiro.
