    I saw a quilter that had what I thought was a label in the center of her quilt back. I messaged her on the how to but never heard. I thought it was a great idea to be able to do that on a few quilts. Do you think she might have used an ink transfer? It was not embroidered. Thanks

    Fascinating and very helpful. What are your thoughts about using on a bowl cozy that would be in the microwave 2-3 minutes? Do you think the laminate would melt or catch fire?
    I'm wanting to label items that are NOT microwave safe because they contain Insulbrite. I think a label from the June Tailor product will be ideal.
    Thanks again! I'll use your affiliate link to purchase.

    • @JanHowell
      @JanHowell  2 года назад +1

      I would not recommend putting laminate in the microwave!

    • @kcastillo0319
      @kcastillo0319 2 года назад

      @@JanHowell My thoughts, too. I've been experimenting with applying clear contact paper (Dollar Tree) to fabric with my laminator. The contact paper is thinner than actual laminating plastic. Thinking about printing directly on fabric and putting contact paper on both sides. I'll give it a try soon - sew with it, wash/dry, and let you know.
      My order of June Tailor paper will be here in a couple of days. Had no idea you could put it on ribbon. You shared some terrific information.
      Have a good day.

      Hi, Jan. A follow-up. The clear contact paper did not protect the ink when printed on cotton. Thought I would let you know. The Tailor product will arrive tomorrow and cannot wait to try it, using your tips. Thanks again for posting.

      Are you using transfer paper for dark colors instead of white? That may be the issue. They are two different things. You may find this post helpful. youmakeitsimple.com/2021/06/17/how-to-use-heat-transfer-paper-no-mirror-image-needed/

      @@JanHowell thank so much for taking time to address my issues. I’m using the correct papers for each color, and my prints don’t come out right and vibrant. Do I need to install a software that may can fix the issues? I am very new to this, thanks again
