And it looks like the issue with the left speaker has been thankfully resolved. In the last video it was buzzing away. The microphone he uses is very good so it does give you a nice picture of what they sound like, less the low end which is naturally filtered out by the microphone below 50Hz.

Lovely sound with the Burmesters. I have these snails in Porsche silver, although admittedly these dark blue are (ever so slightly more) aesthetically pleasing
why is it when hes going from left to to right speaker the sound doesn't actually go from left to right on my 2 channel system. is just seems the sound always favors the right side and even when he goes to the left speaker it seems to get louder on the right and when he goes to the right it just seems to make the right louder on my system, hard to explain but i remember in older videos it worked how you think it should as he would go from the left to the right on my system that speaker would get louder how it was in the video.
The audio signal must be getting converted/compressed/etc somewhere along the way via your system's connections my dude, because I'm listening to this right now on a pair of HD-6XX headphones connected to a Schiit Modius DAC & Lyr 3 Amplifier -- And my god, with my eyes closed it sounds just like the band is walking around me while they sing/play... The direction the audio is coming from is VERY clear.
3:00 The saxophone is still sharp enough to sound "live" cos the treble comes back at you cos of the acoustic shape. Not as muffled off axis (even when it's off the scale off axis).
@@n.lyndley.9889 I agree with the poster about these B&W Nautilus being very close to "Live" and i DO HAVE 30+ years in audio engineering AND video production so I know good speakers when I hear them! The saxophone was sublime and since I used to play alto sax, I know what it SHOULD sound like. Even WITH the 251 Kilobits per second data rate of the audio compression for the OPUS codec used by RUclips, the separation and simple SOUND QUALITY showed through wonderfully! These are GREAT speakers and I liked them BETTER than the Wilson Alexia V speakers. They definitely LOOK BETTER than them too! Aesthetics come into play too when you buy something this expensive! If I had the money, I would DEFINITELY have go in buying them! I would love to put them in a large expansive room such as within a large log cabin with a big front window, a large stone fireplace and a big comfy leather couch in the middle plus some warm blankets in the cold winter night. The reflectance of the rock and wood would give some nice reverb opening up the entire space making it seem like we are outside. No lights other than the burning fire, some decent port wine and fantastic jazz vocals playing on these speakers makes life an utterly sublime and "Chill Beyond Chill" time for me! V
@@bigelile07 the possibility of ever buying something this high end for me is incredibly small. I have a system that I really enjoy right now. There are certainly other components to which I would like to upgrade but I am very happy with what I have now.
