This is so cool because it shows that the loyal TM driver consumer may see better standard dev distance and accuracy with something else. So important to get fit!
Great content! Definitely worth a sub. Fast forward to now (March 20th). Cobra just released a Limited Edition, blacked out version of the LTDx which, imo, makes it the best looking driver of 2022. I'm not one to jump up and order newly released clubs but I couldn't help it on this one. Sick, sick looking driver.
Appreciate the kind words!! That black cobra def is waaaaay cleaner! Just can’t heft over the harsh feel at impact versus the comp! The middle feels like a high toe miss on every other driver Lolol. (To me…)
I do the exact same testing as you do. I have a QC Quad, and narrowed mine down to the Callaway triple diamond and the Cobra low spin. Shaft for me is Tensie pro orange, tipped a 1/2 at 45 inches. Love the content
Bryan, liked your video. I wish we could see what you are referring to when you say "This driver". We don't know when you are switching drivers, etc. and lose track of what you are using, especially when you hit those bombs. Maybe a close up of the face and name of the driver would help. Thanks.
@@bryangolf Yes. I see some but couldn't read some of the details in some photos. . I lost track when you changed from Stealth to Stealth Plus and loft change, and from LTD to . I see the Ping brand but not the specific club. I can copy and blow up the pics though.
Hey Brian. I’m a steep swinger , fairly aggressive tempo. 105-110 swing speed. I don’t have a problem with height. Low and forward cg drivers have been best for me so cobra ltdx max and taylormade sim/stealth standard and draw have been best. Just got an ltdx max driver w im10 mid 60. Super straight but don’t feel like it’s the longest. Any shafts you suggest I test out for a bit more distance that may compare to the IM10? So many shafts out there looking for some starting points.
Great fitting and content. Can’t wait for the shaft test. I currently game the sim2 and I’m looking for more accuracy off the tee this year. Sim2 hits bombs but also doesn’t offer much help on miss hits IMO.
Totally concur with the stealth black and red. Too marvel comics evil guy. And the gloss to matte seam doesn't look right in the light. Looks never and the glue is cheesy. The Titleist TSi3 is black and red, but in a classy way.
What would you say is the most neutral driver (non fade bias) lower spin head? I swing about 112-115 and pretty neutral player. I struggle with a high cut with my g410 lst with weight in heel.
Hahaha not any time soon! Really didn’t enjoy the podcast very much. It started fast and I quickly realized I didn’t want to spend time promoting it. Then it became so busy at the shop, I didn’t even have the time to record it.
I wish that was the case. LTDX was the one I wanted to out perform them all! In our bay, due to space, we calibrate the Quad for alignment and it sets me up to where it looks like I am aiming out to the right but it’s actually fairly square. So my sim is always a foot (give or take) parallel right.
Actually took video of my swing yesterday and better understood what you’re saying! I do line feet right and shoulders left! Gonna work on that!! Thanks!!!
@@bryangolf Ok. Gotcha. Hey. I'm looking at the Cobra LTDx-LS myself. Glad it also did so well with you. @@scottamolinari couldn’t really tell ya which is the best shaft for you but I personally love the RDX Blue as a stock option. Who knows if any of them fit you though! Haha.
Preliminary testing (cpl weeks back when it arrived...) it spun a little too low and wasn't as in love with the shape in comparison to Triple Diamond LS!
Hmm, there was 6 mph club head speed difference between G425 Max and your fastest club. 6 mph can't be head design - that's Bryan swinging it at different speeds. 6 mph could easily make up the difference in total yardage. Strike was also arguably the worst for the best efficiency. If I were you, I'd toss that G425 Max back into the mix - you may have tossed out your best driver of 2022.
Been hitting it for 6 months. Always 2-4 mph slower swing speed with it homie. Same for players I fit daily. Heavier head weight seems to slow me down there. If I could swing it 120 with the G425, it would no doubt be a better performer. But when I try, I get diminishing returns. Gotta put some trust in my half a year gaming it.
I've had LST on the wall for 18 months. If it worked for me, I would've gamed it 100%. MAX was AMAAAAZING for me. Just didn't have the ballspeed. Neither did LST. My dispersion was better with MAX on the mishits. This test is my GAMER (G425 MAX) versus 2022 offerings.

I've fit a lot of TM Stealth and Stealth + so far! Very goooood for a lot of players!!
@@bryangolf thats awesome man. every swing is different which makes this process fun! I wish I were a tad closer to come get fit by you my guy!
Great video! I found a jump in club head speed with the LTDx LS as well. Excited to see the winner!
Wonder if the paint scheme or potential the white marks on the sole get caught by the cameras and increase the swing speed inaccurately?
Great vid Bryan! Can’t wait for the shaft video
Sooooon!
Great video!! Great shoes!! What and where did you get them??
Great video, nothing will get me out of my TS3, love that club!

That’s what part 2 will dive into a little bit more but in this one, it’s a PX iM10 60g TX. 45”. No tipping. (I never tip my driver.) Set N/S.

Is it just me, or is his stance super closed? Could that explain his hook with the LTDx?

Why does the Cobra LTDx-LS have more spin than the non-LS version?
The way I delivered the X (closed) produces less spin.
