WOW the timing. I just wrapped up a rewatch of the Overcooked playlist. Like as I'm writing this you're saying goodbyes at the end of the last ep and now new Overcooked. AWESOME👍

0:06 - It's pretty minor, but I really love the comedic timing of the banter here, and how effortlessly Carrie and Dan seem to play off each other.
Carrie mentions crawling back (to the kitchen!) and Dan immediately follows that up, mentioning food preparation and how crawling on the floor probably isn't a good idea. Carrie builds on that, agreeing that it would likely be a work safety/hygiene issue.
Dan agrees, but then also brings up the counterpoint that 'We're a beaver and a squirrel, we're probably on all fours...' But before Dan can finish the thought, Carrie has doubled down on the hygiene issue, stating 'You use your paws to make the food; you shouldn't have them on the floor...' Both sides of the "argument" played totally straight.
The bit ends without overstaying its welcome, they let the silence hang for just a moment, and then Dan switches gears to explain why they're back to playing more Overcooked.
Not sure if they've taken improv classes together or if it's just a result of them having spent so much time together (or both), but this sort of thing is exactly why I never miss a co-op episode. Warm and fuzzies
Overcooked is! Your original Overcooked playthroughs are a major comfort series for me, and I'm so excited to see more!

If Carrie wasn't being so disruptive, it could be a dessert bus instead.

The Perseid meteor shower is in August! I saw an INCREDIBLE meteor this year, best I've ever seen! While I hate that I have to drive an hour and twenty minutes to see my dad, I'm also really glad he lives in the country so can see the stars. ❤
I can't play Overcooked because it sets off my anxiety, so I am extra delighted to watch you guys enjoy it together!
3:45: What kind of s'more has strawberries(?) instead of chocolate?
4:05: Okay, chocolate is being used. But what were those red things?
6:35: I'm starting to question whether the devs have ever made a s'more.
9:00: Or gone camping.
20:28: Just bring paper plates like a normal camper! Or metal ones like a slightly more hardcore camper.
23:10: I've gone on some campouts with _very_ hardcore campers-the kind of hardcore who finds ways to cook steaks and such on a campfire, not the kind who hunts and gathers at the campsite. Never in their wildest dreams would they make a camping version of whatever steamers and stuff you'd need to make this. Though you _are_ making it in an actual building, so...
40:55: This is, surprisingly, not as inaccurate as you might think. It's not how we normally prepare breakfast eggs, and the bacon and other pan stuff is more common for lunch/dinner than breakfast, but it's accurate enough. Cooking areas separated from the hungry camper by a high ledge...less so.
1:50: Well, we've got a fool on hand to test that hypothesis. If the plan stands up to the King's shenanigans, it's foolproof.
3:15: Carrie...if this is a trick to convince Dan to lower the difficulty, good on you, but you _did_ beat Celeste. Also, if you were as bad at video games as you seem to think, you wouldn't be nearly this capable of preventing Dan from driving to the nest level.
5:50: There should be _some_ recipe where one step is throwing an ingredient at another (ready) player, but roasting marshmallows would be an odd choice for that.
10:30: Make hot, not war!
16:50: Huh. That sounds like a mechanic that's way more fun if you have 3-4 players.
25:35: Mm, rice coated with rice flour. Sounds tasty.
...maybe I should get lunch soon. I'm hungry.
32:30: In my opinion, the trash can for camping levels should be a campfire. That's where all the inedible ex-food gets tossed in my experience. Also the paper plates. Also anything else flammable which we don't need any more. Also some stuff we do kinda need...maybe I'm just camping with a bunch of pyromaniacs.
But it would still be more camping-y.

There is lot's of content on those DLC's. The paid ones have 3 tiers and a full theme and everything, and a bunch of free ones have usually 7 or so levels on a specific occasion. Personal favorite is night of the hangry horde. I do hope you get thru them all.
Watching them play Night of the Hangry Horde would be AMAZING, could be good for October?
If every one of the DLC campaigns is this robust, you guys can basically come back to this game for a short run of episodes whenever you want. Which is great!

As many moments with this game, you just gotta think, that's not how smores works. no one uses plates, there's no chopping involved, there's no kitchen. (I realize this might sound like I'm serious, I'm not, games gonna game)
I like to toast marshmallows, but I've never really liked s'mores. I've never heard of anyone putting fruit on a s'more, but fresh strawberry with toasted marshmallow and chocolate actually sounds like a good idea that I kind of want to try.
Can confirm, thinly sliced strawberry on a smores is DELICIOUS!
I have been hoping for this ever since you finished Overcooked 2. With this thumbnail art from Jones, combined with the Grumpus Dan&Carrie, someone has to make actual sewn muppets of you to send you.
As a longtime fan of Lua Lucky*, I know how dangerous it can be for a RUclipsr to have a muppet version of themself around...
*A VTuber who, among many other things, made a muppet version of herself. Muppet Lua is...well, she held 2D Lua at gunpoint on stream.

Now that I can finally watch: 1, I would love to see you do the rest of the DLCs (since this is the first one of game 2, there is *slight* story continuity if you play the game 2 DLCs in the order they were released, but it doesn't really matter. 2, don't forget you can pet Kevin!!

Who puts bananas on s’mores
Banana and chocolate taste good together, but I'm not sure how well the material properties of banana would mesh with a s'more.
Also, wait, those s'mores had banana _instead_ of chocolate.

yeah.... we would replace half the banana with chocolate and marshmallow, then put it back in the fire (inside the banana skin). quite good, but definitely not a smore
