So far this rose is awesome. It has such a unique color. If this one grows well throughout the season I might replace some of the under-performers with this one.
Wow just wow! I happened upon your channel from searching on air-pruning pots. I will be using a few of the large 25 gallon ones for shrubs on my deck. Initially I was thinking of hiding the air-pruning pots by wrapping bamboo fencing around them, but seeing them on your patio, I realize that they look OK on their own, kind of a modern, functional appearance.
Gorgeous! 😍 I am starting my terrace rose garden now (again), and your garden is an inspiration. You have such an amazing experience with growing roses in pots! I never used air-pruning pots before, I always used the usual big plastic pots. But now I am concerned whether I should make drainage holes in pots or not. Some gardeners say that we should only plant in the pots with drainage holes at the bottom, but some say that we should never make these holes. What is your opinion? And now that I learned that there are air-pruning pots, I am wondering if I should use them. Do see a big difference between usual plastic pots and air-pruning pots? I am so confused because my experiences with roses were not successful and now I am making another try and want it to become a success ) at least to have my roses alive If you can make a video with tips for beginners or more details on how you plant, which pots, soil, fertilization, protection, etc! Thank you!
air prune pots encourage lateral roots mean plant can stay in it longer before repotting is required, regular plastic pots do hold moisture longer so that's the advantages, i don't do tuorial videos because there are many out there already on youtube and i'm not doing anything different except i use a different pot, heirloom rose has exellent video on potted rose you shoudl check them out, also i would recommend you to stick to the healthy variieties to avoid many headaches
did you get it from david austin, other plant nurseries, or fellow rose enthuasiasts? i heard some people grow its cuts, and quite successful. this is a very sought after florist rose. 👍🌹🏵
@@rosesintallahasseefl Constance has perfect rose form (like Gertrude Jekyll) ~ I don't care for roses that look like a zinnia, (like Elizabeth) or a peony ( like Earth Angel) ~ A rose should look like a rose, IMO :o)
Hi Sir I am looking for Air Pruning pots to grow roses first time . Basically i am from Tropical region ( India) where half of the season plants need to suffer moderate to High heat. I am thinking for a mixture like Cinder+coco coir + Perlite.. Please suggest if this works well in Air Pruning pots
@@rosesintallahasseefl , thanks a lot for your quick reply sir ..Amazed to see .. Ratio I forget to mention 60% cinder 30% Coco coir 10% Vermiculite Actually in Garden soil mixture, we faced a lot of fungus issue so the reason looking for soil less media. Please suggest once more based on proportion I had provided
@@clickityclick5237 I've noticed some sellers use a "typo" version of the word Juliet and/or put it in the description, also use the same picture of 2 different listing with different name of the same rose, mostly they do this to avoid getting into trouble with David Austin Rose
very beautiful roses!!❤❤🎉😊

If this is Constance Spry I have it in the ground. She makes a 5ft shrub. Beautiful rose.❤
No, this is just Constance, the wedding rose

I got it from Etsy
@@rosesintallahasseefl Could you please share the etsy shop link? thank you
❤👍
Is it a DA? I don't see it on their website. How's the fragrance?
yes it's a DA rose, but it's wedding only rose that's why you don't see it, have to buy it from people who propagate it
SOOO Gorgeous!! Where did you order this rose?
Etsy
I would never have thought of looking on Etsy ~ How brilliant of you!! :o)
It's gorgeous!!
@@JG-vn5fe that's the only source i know who has it, cause this rose wasn't made for sale as a plant

I would not think so because it would dry faster than the regular plastic pot

How long does the blooms last on the bush?
at the moment 3 - 4 days, that's longer than most other DA roses where they only last 1 - 2 days
@@rosesintallahasseefl Thank you. The blooms looks similar to Misaki except the color so I'm kinda interested with this one as it is in my cart.
Color change is dramatic
how many times did i tell myself not to watch your channel. Cost me too much money
Lol, you know you want this rose
