Our trip on The Spirit Of Tasmania WITH our Dog

We sailed to tasmania on the 20th March 2019. We were worried about taking our dog over on the ship because a dog recently passed away on the ship 🚢We got a sedative from our vet and this helped calm our dog down on the journey. It is a 12 hour voyage across the Bass Strait from melbourne to devonport and you are unable to visit your pets while sailing ⛵️ We did the night sail and it all went quite smoothly. We chose to have an indoor cabin which was nice to have our own space to sleep shower and use the toilet. The sea can get a bit rough and make it hard to sleep.
