You can put Eltharion in the shrine and charge, but you cannot fight. Models in faction terrain can't use fight abilities (unless it says otherwise, Lumineth's doesn't), but they can be charged and killed. Not a good idea for Eltharion. looking forward to getting some games in with the new lumineth so great to have these videos to help in building a new list (granted a lot of trial and error will be involved in finding the right balance/list).

Love your videos, thanks so much! Also, if I'm correct, you can't put a stonemage and Avalenor in the same regiment which makes me pretty bitter. I literally picked this army for the alarith years ago and it sucks to always hear them reviewed basically as "meh..."
You are correct about the Stonemage! Did I say that? Small 3e edition remnant in my head maybe haha. I think the alarith actually look pretty okay as long as you mix them into your force with other stuff that's fast. Don't give up on them yet! @@strategoi Haha yah, at 21:39-21:50 but don't worry about it. I was just speaking generally because I played my first match this past weekend and realized it couldn't be done. Oh well. Still took a stonemage in the shrine, spirit of the mountain, and a 10 stoneguard in a regiment against my friend's ironjaws. Ended up winning with the alarith doing some real work. Only brought 1 unit of sentinels too and man, having those extra attacks actually makes them feel better.
Wow those stoneguard with buffs are surprising. They are just too slow compared to the rest of the army and I feel like its not worth spending all those points buffing a back line melee unit. Its too bad.
I think they might do well when mixed in with other stuff. A core of Stoneguard with avalenor could be strong if you have enough fast stuff to compensate

Sad to see Alarith looking so mediocre but still excited to get a cow army on the board!
The spirit is meh, but the other stuff is looking good. I think it's an especially good time to start mixing in alarith into different subfactions! 👍

Yeah, I don't feel like it's deserved that they're so slow. It's a real bummer.

Less beastmen in elven army , awesome. Just replace the Dino raiders with light horse cav and the Fox beastmen with elven woodsmen and Rangers.
