"...and head for Drummond Island to see an old friend" 😀 I love the sparse comments, such a welcome change from other SR players
With the way the world of SnowRunner is set up, with no NPCs and all these vehicles you can use for free, I like to imagine you’re in a post-apocalyptic world and you’re rebuilding
I’ve never thought about it like that before, might needa do another run with tht in mind lol 👍🏼
Wile the world looks beautiful, it really feels dead - the lack of npcs and animals. It's beyond eerie
The 'story' is that there was a huge storm that wiped out a bunch of stuff. But yeah, post-apocalyptic seems plausible.
Isnt that kind of the lore?
it doesn't feel eerie, play Gmod alone, thats eerie
I love how you structured these videos let me tell you something this is some damn fine work you did for this strategy guide please keep making these types of videos I really appreciate this keep up the good work man you have something man these videos are so straightforward right to the point and relaxing🤘💪🏾🤘
You're missed my friend.
Hope all is well. Second play through and you're helping me all over again. I thank you.
I just found this series, and I’m already on episode 5 in one day. Thank you for posting these in this style, they’re so relaxing to watch. Wish I had found these sooner
Legit the same shit with me
Same here, blessed by the algorithm
Same
Same for me. Flew through the first 4 episodes. Makes me realize how disjointed my approach was
@@Fieldy6686 it’s funny, I’ve never actually played this game - I just enjoy the walk throughs
I left a comment on TruScore Gamings’ hard mode series saying that he is the Yoda of Snowrunner. You my friend are on another level. Cheers! 🤘😬🤘
This dude plays the game the way the game was meant to be played! Not doing the same stuff over and over to gain quick cash and xp. Like the best strategic way of playing this game!
This is a great walkthrough. Very well done. Especially nice is the explanations for why certain things were done this way, and not the other - short, sweet and to the point. Very well done, great job!
Wanted to give my quick appreciations, having issues sleeping lately and these vids really help me relax and fall asleep. Awesome videos, please keep it up!
I know I keep saying but these videos really are great way to chill out
Love the series mate started my own hard mode now truly inspiring the way u drive an pick lines in the trucks is spot on 👏 🙌
As I'm rewatching these (still my favourite relaxation, and there are "only" 61 episodes), this one's a favourite with all its exploration and that beautiful bridge building. I like the game when everything is still a bit rough.
Wonderfully relaxing series. I like how your early game strategies compound over time and make it seem like a cakewalk.
Holy cow! This is bitter to watch compared what I did. :D
Nice music, I guess I have to do this country style ambient guitar thing, too, when playing. Creates the right mood for truckin.
11:11 Even this part is relaxing, nice sync with the song =)
When he said we are going to Drummond Island to see a old friend I knew exactly what he ment
This rapidly grew into one of my preferred comfort series. Great work.
I am so glad I found this series. I just started, and havent even left michigan yet. I was playing with the idea that I should do everything in one portion of the state before moving on. But this has shown me there is a lot of creativity and maximum efficiency by switch bewteen placed for jobs.
and you play on hard mode too?
YT Algorithm, you hear this? This is great, recommend it to more ppl.
I only discovered your channel and content today. Best out. Good to hear a fellow Aussie, keep up the wicked content
With knowing how hard you have worked to keep the vehicles damage free… that moment midway the the video where you hit that pebble in the road and took suspension damage…. I can’t tell you how many times that has made me so frustrated haha
Laid Back Max. Cool, Calm and Collected Max. This series is like what Mad Max was like before, well, he got mad. First thought when I heard your accent since I'm replaying the Mad Max game and am currently hooked on vehicle focused games like that and now Snowrunner.
Excellent series. I see that you finished it and haven't uploaded in a while. Hope all is well and that you'll start sharing again some day.
Wow! Dude, I bought this game "pre-ordered" it actually, like two years ago, but never really got into it... til now. I mean, I've just recently over the past few weeks, have gotten into it; I've only opened up like three, maybe four maps--I'm Still just in Michigan. However, after just watching these few videos, how you haven't really spent Any money, except what's actually necessary, and the fact that you haven't had Any repairs whatsoever on Hard mode, You, sir, have kinda inspired me to start my own "hard mode" campaign; and, I'll probably use your vids as a guideline for myself, lol, :d
You have obviously have spent a Lot of time memorizing these maps, because you've not used any way points at all. Seriously, dude. These vids, especially since you've time-lapsed them somewhat, are awesome!!
Btw, the music is kinda sorta cathartic too.
I am 2 years into this game with mods and cheated to get tons of money and I am still not done with it.
I know nothing about this game aside from what I have seen in your videos but with the music and your driving the vibe I get is that of an old truck driver and mechanic retiring and moving back to where he grew up and seeing it falling apart, so he takes it upon himself to fix everything no one else wants to and help people out. Except the preacher who he taunts with that fuel trailer every day.
I had to watch the first 4 videos in the series without sound ... Had an opportunity to switch on sound for this one and i am so glad i did... Excellent commentary.
Great job, you are very helpful thank you!!!!
Autoloader!!! 😂
J/K
I like these videos. Kinda scary how you seem to have everything memorised though 😮
He has notes. But it would seem he also has quite a bit memorized
This was my best sleep ever, so calming ❤
cool ASMR videos :)
This series is great
how did you manage to drive through everywhere without looking at the map?
Yellow on yellow you sir are genius lol
we need a spotify play list for this music. :)
Cool game! Mud Life 😆👍
Nice vid
i'm about to start my sr hard mode gameplay after completing all tasks and contests. i've done every contract in the game on casual mode but this still feels rather daunting. that being said, i'm sure it makes you that much better of a player.
can't even begin to think of what imandra and northern aegis are like on this mode
11:16 the music here is just 👌😍
11:13 10/10 drama
On my first attempt to explore Drummond Island, I managed to properly drown the Chevy. Oh well…
Haha I follow along, got 12 liters left at the gastank 😱😱😱 I'm burning way more fuel than you do
Hey dude. Love your videos. I've been doing my best to follow along in the game. I also love the music. I've looked long and hard for "Dividedsignalsilentreturn - Fundamental Premise" but I'm not finding it anywhere. It's the second to last song, I believe. The one with the string instruments and drums. Would you happen to know where I could buy it or listen to it?
Great series. Do you know if we can restock repair points?
I sold the P16 and bought the P12 instead. It is just more useful in my opinion. Which brings me to another of my major gripes about this game.
Tires. That's not how tires work. The idea that certain vehicles can or can't have mud tires on them is silly. You can put any tire you want on any vehicle you want. It is just a matter of whether they make a tire that fits your wheel, or a wheel that fits your hub pattern and the tire you want. It isn't that difficult to make happen.
at this moment you had exactly 66.666 total views on the channel :))
Brown trousers moment at 8:49. 😂
This game is so much slower. Nice vid bro. You need a co op runner. Lemme know.
Just unlocked Drummond Island and got the Pacific. I do have a question though. The huge semi-truck fuel trailer, is it part of a mission down the road or can I take it?
One of the things that bugs me most about this game is the winch system.
Pretty much every winch out there is autonomous. They are almost universally electric powered and run off of the vehicle's alternator and/or battery. They will all work with the engine off.
The only exceptions are PTO winches, which are extraordinarily rare on consumer grade vehicles and are usually only found on industrial grade vehicles such as farm equipment, and hydraulic winches, which are pretty much only found on military vehicles and some industrial vehicles.
But for at least 90% of the vehicles in this game, they should be using electric powered "autonomous" winches already. And they are NOT weak. I've got an electric winch on my 4,500 pound Jeep that is rated to pull 12,500lbs. And with the use of snatch blocks I can double, triple, or even quadruple, that pulling power.
Also, winches typically have at least 70ft of usable cable. So the incredibly short range in this game is pretty annoying.
It’s is annoying how the suspension works. Even garbage suspension doesn’t make your car as rigid as it shows here. It’s like they just stuck a stiff steel bar and said that’s suspension.
I cant watch 3 episodes without sleeping...
it always bothered me that you had to buy a roof rack to carry fuel on the CK1500 when it had a perfectly usable bed
The p16 is too beefy to make fun of its off center but Cab
not a single drop of fuel wasted
asmr
Am I the only person who made it to this gas station with 6 liters left?
I guess you just happen upon someone's truck and decide to take for yourself?
Abandoned. 😁
wow I thinking you never make a mistake, finaly I saw you are human :))))) That reaver what you past ... the game I think is more easy at you, becouse that flowing water for me was imposible to pass in range rover.
CHEVY BEST TRUCK OF ALL TIME
Tuz-166 and tuz-16 are best scouts in game! Tuz-166 is based on GAZ-69a and tuz-16 on GAZ-66 i think.
These videos have kind of captivated me, but I'm curious... what's the point of this game? Just to upgrade your trucks?
It depends on what you find most enjoyable. Some collect vehicles, some upgrades. I like to play a map/area completely through, first open up a map by fixing all roads and finding all watchtowers. Then after that complete every task and finally complete every contract befors moving on (from Michigan to Alaska eg.)
I am now in Kola Peninsula, russia and the game gets better and better, more challenging for every place you get to. When Michigan was easy and you get to Alaska it’s hard again. Kola Peninsula is really difficult at times. I’ve been playing for about 1,5 years and love the game. My absolute favourite game yet!
why did you refuel from the fuel trailer instead of the gas station itself?
Love your videos but that music is to much
love your videos but ffs dont do them in fast forward. RUclips gives us the ability to skip around if we want, being able to follow step by step at the same speed would have been perfect, it is literally to the extent i dont even want to continue your series. The constant pause, un pause, rewind bull shit is infuriating
Hey bro did you play the game before this. You need no map. ? Or it doesn't give you one ?
