omg THANK YOU SO MUCH!! YOU'VE MADE IT SO EAZY TO UNDERSTAND AND REPLICATE! My grand daughters are gonna be so very delighted!!!! I'm so happy I found your video. Other people's tutorials were so very discouraging! so very grateful for your kindness in teaching grandma's like me new ways to diy simply! I'm so excited now
Hi, I’m just watching your video for the first time and I’m becoming a subscriber because I think you’re fantastic just for the record! I’m customizing clothing with denim , sweaters and that’s as far as I’ve gotten so far, and I’ve invested in every brand of rhinestone you can imagine. Obviously not all of them, but a lot so far but I have to say my absolute favorite is the Swarovski crystals and majority of them have the pointed backing and not the flat side. I am finding out that they are not the best when it comes to adding to clothing, but they have the best results when it comes to the product of shiny and high-end looking results. I guess you could say I would appreciate your opinion, and maybe expertise on what I should do and the best way to go about it. I’m looking forward to your response and watching your videos on a regular basis, Thank you so much for your time and expertise!😊
PS. I have tried the Eleenes fabric fusion glue, the B 7000, the gorilla fabric glue and now I’ve just started using the E6000. Just to let you know what I’ve been using and even with flat backs because I want it to be above and beyond secure with no complaints?!?!
I'm so glad you are finding these videos helpful! Sounds like you've tried a number of different rhinestones and adhesives. In my experience the flat backs are ideal for clothing, they allow the glue to hold the pieces together. I imagine you could find Swarovski flat backs, I agree they look beautiful! Hope that helps a little. Thanks for being here.
Thank you for your video. May I ask why you didn’t use the Hot Tip method? I’m trying to decide which method to go when I add rhinestones to something I’m making. Is it because your project will need to be washed, so the e6000 will hold better than the hot tip? Thank you for your time!
@@SarahVanderkooy thank you. When is if best to use a hot glue gun. What are the advantages abd disadvantages of it. Iam new to DIY fashion. Can u guide me of the basic items I need.
WARNING: E600 is highly toxic and requires either a respirator or to be used outdoor, if you are doing your craft indoor you should use another type of glue.

Beautiful job I’m going to do a patriotic jacket …. And this video has helped me tremendously! I will continue to watch ur videos
I love t his instruction on adhering rhinestones to denim. Nicely done! I'm subscribing.
Good job, love it! Can you hand wash the jean jacket after you add the glass rhinestones with E6000 glue?
Yes, handwash is best and it will hold up.
I made a big Elvis on the back of my jacket its about 24 inch

There is a website called Rhinestone Unlimited that says hot tip rhinestones can’t be used on denim. It doesn’t say why.
@@CCoburn3 ok thank you!
Love it will try soon
Hey from England! Thanks for your cool video! What glue would work best with a leather motorcycle jacket? ✌️✨
I would opt for a glue meant for rhinestone, something like Gem-Tac or E6000, both of these are really strong and bond to leather.
@@SarahVanderkooy - Thank you!
Love this!
I am using the same glue on denim but it's not sticking??
Did you lose any rhinestones after washing it?
No, it's held up really well.
Did the stones hold up on the letter “N” after wash?
Where did you but your Rhinestones from?
I don't know where to get GLASS FLATBACK RHINESTONES from..
There is a link in the description to the items I used in this video.
Love it 😀
If we add rhine stone to tumblers. Do we use the same glue
Yes you can use the same glue.

I did learn something and I’m 55 years old
Is it dangerous if I get the glue on my skin?
This glue can be washed off, but if you are worried you can always wear gloves.
no never did gems on denim
