I live in Russia and I had a Ritmix RZX-35 and RZX-40 about 6 years ago :) The company has branded cheap noname chinese consoles, headphones, music players and other portable electronics, and has earned a bad reputation due to poor quality in our country.

"Ritmix" is just a russian brand. This product is just rebranded chinese "console", just like GB Boy

@@adamhenry6793 Back in Soviet Russia they actually manufactured their own stuff rather than rebranding foreign stuff.
You could have a look online to see if there's a firmware update to change the fast speed on the gameboy games, and do a teardown to see if there's a reason why it constantly registers as pressing down.

Yes you can that rubbery coating that goes sticky after a few years can be removed, you wipe it with alcohol and it will start to wipe off its hard work tho and you can normally get any stringy glue bits off after with strong tape, just slap it on and rip it off just like using wax strips on legs

This handheld is from 2011!!!! so you need to update the firmware and emulators. It can also play PS1 games with decent speeds.

i know im late, but 8:35 is actually a very good game! dragon warrior monsters 2! always a favorite.
On the subject of the sticky coating, the bright side is that there doesn't seem to be much in the way of print you might miss over it so when it does go you should be able to just scrub it off without losing much. Just remember which hole is the mic and which is reset.
The Ritmix is essentially a Pap K3 Plus, there is a CFW for it which enables other Dingux emulators and games/ports etc.

I don't know about the exact kit, but the bit you want is a Y0 size bit.
If you search for "wowstick set" on ebay there are packs of bits that should be the right size, just make sure the pack you pick has the Y bits in it, I just bought one now myself so hopefully it right.

Yeah guys try to do a complete run of Super Metroid, Fusion or Zero Mission on a phone without physical buttons! It's not impossible but you have to put your fingers is painful position if you want to remotely execute shinespark and use all the tricks at your disposal to sequence break or access power ups earlier (of course not on Fusion).
This reminds me of a recent video Izzy made for the PAP K3 Plus! It look almost exactly the same 😂😂😂
480X272 is a dealbreaker for emulation. It isn't an even integer of the usual 320 x 240 used by most consoles and arcade games. You either get a tiny image at 1:1 or you get hideous scaling artifacts if you fill the screen because you need at least double the games native resolution to scale ok. I don't know why it is so hard for designers of these things to figure out especially since the target audience are emulator users. The now defunct GP2X was probably the best of these devices.
Not ideal, but metal slug was thoroughly enjoyable!

I think you turned on the "GSensor" in the options, which I assume stands for "Gyro Sensor", so when you tilt the console it emulates the DPAD :)
13:01 shows you have it turned on in the options menu :)
I hope we get a Bittboy with this controls on the side configuration soon. I got the newest Bittboy on your recommendation, and while it's as good as you said, it is very tiring to hold for any extended period. It's like every maker can do almost great, but nobody can do perfect.
It looks like the actual processor is quite good but the quality of the controls and emulation software seems to be lacking. I do note there is a firmware update available that could well help with the emulators.
Actually, WD-40 and a rag will remove that coating. Of course, anything written on that coating will be removed as well but I have used this method on a couple of MP3 players that used it.
I have a razer mouse that had that rubber plastic coating. Twas nice till it became sticky instead of rubbery, its a shame it doesnt hold up well, cause i had to whipe it all off the mouse to keep it in use since its still the best feeling mouse for me. Old product at this point.

This guy makes incredible custom GameBoys and game cartridges in original-like packaging.
It costs a lot, but the effort put in it is worth the money.

Because when I tried it for myself with some hair lotion with 3% volume the label on the carts peeled off on the borders. How do you manage to cover all the spaces on the front without that happening?

I've had a mouse in particular that had that rubbery coating (Mx518 I think, Logitech. Classic gaming mouse) and it was gross. Soaked it and scrubbed it and a lot of the coating just fell off. It's not easy and takes a lot to get it to look good, but it can at least feel good and be/look not disgusting lol

Probably better off picking up an old PSP if you want to emulate games. Could also use a Raspberry Pi.

You accidentally activated motion controls. That's why it was "permanently pressing the down key". There's a function called 'gsensor' that you accidentally turned on in the config menu while you were play Mario. I'm almost dumbfounded that you didn't notice that and gave up so quickly.

Sticky rubberised plastic is easy to fix, just soak it in some biological washing detergent, de-stickifies it nicely, I have a retro lemon-yellow PS/2 mouse that went sticky, and after a good soak & a nice wash, it was nice and smooth again... :)

Dingoo A320, и выбирать эмуляторы на свой вкус, соответственно и работать они могут лучше чем штатные )) на неё даже портировали quake1 и якобы она может запускать игры PS1 )
и по сути это просто китайская консоль для русского рынка... ))

Gotta say you were a bit overoptimistic there, like savestates good n all but thats low prio compared to game running correctly right away. How they fail on GB & GG is beyond me as its not the hardest to emulate out there. A PSP or 3DS will do this better and also gets updates from the scene.
