ビジュアルノベルゲーム『魔法使いの夜』(原作：奈須きのこ・TYPE-MOON)の劇場アニメーション化が決定致しました。
アニメーション制作は、『空の境界』『Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]』など、数多くのTYPE-MOON作品をアニメ化し、現在放送中のアニメ『鬼滅の刃』を制作するufotableが手掛けます。

『魔法使いの夜』はTYPE-MOONが開発・販売したビジュアルノベルPCゲーム、2012年4月12日に発売。
シナリオを『空の境界』『Fateシリーズ』の生みの親である奈須きのこ、グラフィックを長年TYPE-MOONのクリエイティブに携わるこやまひろかずが手掛け、物語・映像・音楽・演出といったノベルゲームに必要とされるすべての要素を最高の水準で作り上げた、正統派“ビジュアルノベル”として話題を博した。
奈須きのこが『月姫』発売の前に執筆した未発表小説が源流であり、TYPE-MOON作品の時系列において最も古い1980年後半を舞台として描いている。

For those wondering the song's name is Aozaki Aoko by Hideyuki Fukasawa. It's from the OST of the visual novel (game).

Seems like Ufotable is ready to go beyond what they achieved in Heaven's Feel
They've really improved over the years, its so beautiful
I just hope they turn down the flashyness a little bit, because Heaven's Feel was brought down a bit by the flashy chaos going on onscreen you couldn't make out what was actually even happening at times...

@@jokki4886The lighting and shading work looks better in here in my opinion. Background art is about the same level as Heaven’s Feel at the very least. This PV showed more scenery than action anyways.
@@phillipn6475I liked the way how in Heaven's feel compositing looked more 2d-ish but in this trailer it looks way more 3d-ish, especially from 1:09 to the end

あー、鬼滅がなければ、まほよや月姫のアニメ化がもっと早く実現していたんだろうなと考えてしまう。鬼滅は稼げるからそっち優先になるのは分かるんだけどさ。
つい最近原作クリアしたけど、まじで最高な作品だった。青子と有珠が動いてるだけで泣きそう🥹ufotable様がアニメ化してくれることに感謝しかない。

ufotableとType-Moonがやっぱり一番しっくりくる
作画クオリティに作品の内容が負けてると作品のポテンシャルが分からなくなる
逆だとその作品のポテンシャルが最大限活かされない
でもufotableと型月作品はどちらも頂点に立つ
ただただ最高と言うしかない
This is not the first time for ufotable to work with Type moon stories, we are sure they will take the best. besides, they are constantly working on themselves

Already love how Ufotable manage to capture the already amazing art and visual presentation of the Visual Novel. The scenes used are pretty much a 1:1 of the scenes in the VN. Hoping they don't ruin the story. Aoko vs Flat Snark better be as epic as the VN.
Absolutely gorgeous work by ufotable, I'm glad finally mahoyo will get the recognition it deserves

@@RSAMV9611fate mainly to the wider anime community, tsukihime, mahoyo kara no kyoukai and melty blood (fg based on tsuki) this is called the nasuverse.
@@RSAMV9611 TYPE-MOON is the company who are the original creators of the entire Fate franchise, Tsukihime, The Garden of Sinners, and Witch on the Holy Night (what the movie here is adapting). ufotable has had a long history of adapting their works, which are all connected in the same general universe and lore.

11 years before Kara no Kyokai.
10 years before Fate/Zero.
19 years before Tsukihime. (Original).
20 years before Fate Stay Night.
you should count remake since mahoyo right now is tied to remake continuity where as OG Tsukihime is tied to the 1997 Novel of Mahoyo rather than the 2012 VN.

このFateや月姫のようなギャルゲー感の無いきのこの癖の塊みたいな作品をアニメでやってくれる喜びは三千世界に響き渡る。
まほよはやっぱり洋館の日常、昭和後期の学生の価値観や時代の終わりと始まりを示す世相に感じうる彼らの瑞々しい反応が大好き。
トビマル、ホウスケ、草十郎の悪友三銃士のノリの会話がとかく好き。
アニメ化だとだいぶカットされるんだろうなぁと感じつつも、やっぱりまほよはそういう日常のありふれた世界を楽しむ作品でもあるわけで。
昭和後期の型月世界を魔術師じゃない草十郎の視点で観察する、独特の空気感を期待。
自分の青春が映画化されるのが嬉しすぎる。

Aoko merece mas reconocimiento, es una heroína badass y carismática, ojala esta película impulse en popularidad al personaje, que desde que jugué la visual novel, deseaba una versión animada que le haga justicia y que la haga mas conocida su historia.

@@59-Morfeo No hace falta, por suerte su historia se desarrolla antes que todo lo que conocemos de Type Moon, en los años 80's, tómala como la precuela de Kara no Kyokai, Tsukihime, Fate Stay Night y Lord El-melloi, a lo mucho te diría juega la visual novel, pero por lo que se vio estará bien adaptada.

@@diegomendez1956No creo que esté bien adaptada, conociendo como son de seguro meten cosas que no pasaron en la novela para seguir sacándole jugo al nasuverse, lo mismo paso con Tsukihime remake que hasta cambiaron los villanos y añadieron cosas fumadas.
@@korigbf3103pues ya venían haciendo esas cosas fumadas desde hace rato aparte de que se Necesitaban mejorar varias cosas de Tsukihime ya que estaba bastante lejos respecto al lore actual y el único villano que quitaron fue a Nero

I can't believe Ufotable has finally kept the original soundtracks from the game they adapted, instead of the classical orchestral music we hear in all of their adaptations ! I hope they do the same for Hollow Ataraxia or even Tsukihime Remake.
it depends on the composer. The vn was done by hideyuki fukasawa the same person that did the UBW anime soundtrack. Maybe they brought him back to redo the soundtrack for the movies.
@@MokonaModokiES I bet they still remixed it in a way, cause they can't really sell records of the ost if the tracks are the exact same ones from the vn.
@@Snzn_7 no i mean that he remixed them. Just that its still done by fukasawa rather someone else. Like FSN ost was done by Keita Haga and the animes the music was remixed by Kenji kawai, Hideyuki Fukasawa and Yuki Kajirua. Mahoyo simply would keep the same composer but remix them
@@MokonaModokiES Though if we keep Ufotable's track record for Type Moon anime and to even some non Type moon anime, they still find some way to make Kajiura do something in their anime. If she will not be the main composer, they still might make her remix a couple of soundtrack or make her compose the theme song. I feel like Kajiura would compose the main theme song for this one at least though.
@@Snzn_7 bruh what? kajiura had no involvement in UBW it was solely Fukasawa. and many other ufotable projects dont force Kajiura out of nowhere. She either is the main composer or she is not. Thare is no "she makes some tracks" lmao
鬼滅の絵ももちろんすごいけど、やはりufo×型月の伝奇ものでこそ、本領発揮できてる気がする
The fighting sequences looked absolutely incredible in the game. They are easily the best among the other Type-Moon works.

Mahoyo is the master of pieces of this Decade. Peak Nasuverse, this teaser alone gave me chills. I can't wait to see Aoko Red Shift fully animated by Ufotable. Nothing in this world can top up the quality produced by Ufotable when it comes to adapting any Nasuverse related works. It's their signature
